This drama has a pretty high rating here, considering how shallow the script is and how paper-thin the romance is thus far. So far, I'm watching for Woo Do Hwan's character(s).
I’m really curious who the FL ends up with. I agree with the comments below. It’s so hard to see her end up…
My guess is the other person put unexpected in quotes because usually fantasy kdramas come up with a twist in the last 10 minutes of the finale to let the leads be together, so it's only unexpected in theory lol. That's my guess, since the tone of the show so far has been too light-hearted to allow for a tragic ending.
I'm actually quite disappointed with this drama, everyone said it was great but I felt so bored some times..And…
That's kind of the point, like what Dong Ryong tells her. Do you want to be liked, or do you want to like someone yourself? As much as she let herself be swept up by the idea of Sunwoo or Junghwan liking her, Taek was always the person foremost on her mind and the one she went out of her way to take care of. Doing those little things for him was her "love language," so to speak, though it may seem like mothering to an outsider.
Tae Oh is trash and I would like him to rot in jail, but I see a lot of comments about how the son sucks when Sun Woo was being pretty terrible herself. Trying to convince him that his dad won't love him anymore because he has another kid when she knows very well that's not the case? No ma'am.
I suspect Chul mostly because he's SO desperate to work with Ha Jin again, despite not being fired or reprimanded in anyway. But it could really be any of them, because 90% of the men in this show are trash. That being said, I'm in love with Ha Jin and Ha Kyung, and ofc reporters Jo and Lee are wonderful.
The plot lowkey makes no sense to me, but I find it so charming and I'm having a great time. I'm wondering if the main romance will be between Sol Ah and Jae Sun, after all? Maybe with Hong Jo being the one who helps them understand each other. He already seems jealous and clearly has a strong attachment to Sol Ah, but... he's also a cat and was apparently 7 years old when he first met her somehow, so it seems impossible.
Really enjoyed the first episode. Love how it set up certain plot lines and goals for different characters, and the cast chemistry is really nice. I was always gonna watch it for Joy and Eunwoo, but now I know I'll have fun watching everyone.
Why would it just end like that???????? I'm so mad, lmao. I don't watch kdramas to get multiple seasons; I watch them because they're a complete story.
your opinions are not FACTS and can never be FACTS. eunwoo has won several acting awards from his well rated drama,…
Then how do you explain different acting schools with different methods? Or the fact that acting styles have gone in and out of fashion? It's not objective; it has to suit the genre and vision of the director, etc. That's subjective. But I shall simply agree to disagree with your opinion that you call a fact.

I'm not denying the facts, lol, nor am I commenting on his popularity. Liking his acting is why I became a fan, not the reverse. I thought it was spotty in the first few episodes, but he grew with the character and was good in the role by the halfway point. Obviously, you didn't, but I'm not blinding myself because of my feelings. You said it is a fact that he can't act "at all," which must be an exaggeration informed by your feelings.
If you call Cha Eun Woo's acting "good acting", then everyone here can be an actor. Please, be objective, you…
I love how you're literally stating your opinion about his acting, calling it a fact, and then telling us we're not allowed to have our own opinions. It's too bad that you had a harder time enjoying the show, but I had no issues. I don't think anyone's out here calling him the best actor ever, either. This is his second lead role, and in my eyes, he's been improving weekly. I don't know what rang false to you in the back half of the drama, but I had no such issues.
I haven't read the webtoon, but I loved the synopsis and couldn't wait to watch the first ep. Instead it felt flat to me, perhaps because the show didn't try to make Danoh's world look real to begin with in order to break the illusion later.
One thing that's fuzzy for me and makes me want a family chart.... The King isn't related to the Dowager Queen…
I'm not sure if it was explicitly explained, but the King was the son of a concubine and the Queen Dowager's husband. So legally(?) the Queen Dowager is his mother, but not by blood. And the only way he could ascend to the throne was because he killed his brother.
