It's very badly written. You can try to rationalise it, but it's faulty character work, cliché melodrama tropes thrown together and character growth, character arcs and entire characters being forgotten. It's not the actors, who have great chemistry in real life. It's writing so bad it erases that.

That would be great if that chapter was what this season was all about. If their relationship being so bad to the point of a break up that they had to figure it out is a valid plot. But then they have the family plot. Both, dramatically, don't work together. Because "outside forces are tearing us apart" requires a good relationship we root for to work; it's one or the other. If they are shown to be toxic, immature and in a rut solving that had to be the whole plot. The two plots together don't work. "Bad relationship just got a lot worse" just makes us root for them to break up and move on.
By the way, they weren't ever happy together in any season. But they loved each other in one of them. What this season is showing is a relationship that should end for good.
The thing is, in the last episode all these problems will magically be solved with no character growth. In fact, this season has the same arc of Bad Romance. Not to mention that is so poorly written that even though Knock and Bright being brothers and Korn having a sister that was a main character was completely forgotten.
@Freya Harold Excellent review you wrote here and I have the exactly same thoughts too. Thank you for pointing…
Love By Chance is hardly cheesy and childish if you consider that the main couple has faced quite a few obstacles and have always talked like two adult people and worked things out instead of being extremely passive-aggressive and sullen like Korn and Knock are being. It seems everyone thinks we have problem with this season because it's very dramatic, but Together With Me series one was ultra dramatic and they were always fighting too, but we liked that season because, in addition to all the problems, they seemed to care about each other and had chemistry.

Affection is a huge component of a romantic relationship. But even if you put that aside, Knock was already treating Korn with extreme disregard before their family problems started. He was rude and inconsiderate all the time. And when the family trouble started, Korn first kicked Knock out, entangled him in a web of lies and is even pushing him to lose his job.
These two show no affection, communication or regard for each other this season and in Bad Romance while in Together With Me, with all their problems and mistakes, they genuinely seemed to care for each other.
I hope you read this and see this series in a different perspectiveIn TWM 1, what did you like about KornKnock's…

I love the show and nothing about it really detracts from it for me, but I have to agree, as I have before, that its one glaring flaw is that half of the BL couples seem completely tackled on. While it took a while for TinCan to get going, holding them back was smart, because as AePete settled into a happy couple life, you had this second wind to keep the show going. Genius. And both stories are quite intertwined. But, honestly, if you cut out the other two BLs, it would make no difference.

"They haven't really done anything other than to share the translated version of what's is happening". - That is literally the definition of spreading.
If you are OK with destroying people's careers, do that. You keep saying you have "the facts", but you don't. You neither personally talked to any of these people, read any of these contracts nor witnessed any of these conversations. I get that you want to protect people you are a fan of, but the result of this won't be, "wow, fans set the record straight. Let's give these actors other opportunities because it wasn't really their fault and the fair thing to to is not the blame the actors". The results will be, "wow, in their very first big job these actors were involved in a national and international controversy and, regardless of whose fault it is, it's better to steer clear of them". No matter what the managers did, it's fans blowing this out of proportion.

Users are spreading this and hurting all the involved. I know you feel you are helping, but you are not. Scandals help nobody. Let people sort this out in private. The fans are making this a huge scandal. No one of us would even know about any of this if fans weren't making it a big deal on Social Media. Please, respect people's privacy and livelihoods.

No one has managed to tell me how making this a huge scandal where the actors are being attacked and being dragged into a smear campaign and obfuscating their current success is helping anybody. No one is coming out of these unscathed and at some point, regardless of who is right or wrong, people might just think they all have too much baggage to be hired again.

You read rumours on the internet and you are spreading them. You are hurting all the involved. Even if true, a huge scandal won't make anything better. It never does. I wish not to be part of this, so I am leaving this conversation.

I didn't learn about this from the manager. Only from fans. I'm sorry. The fans are spreading this. If the people involved wanted this public, they'd release a statement. This fan gossip and fan war is toxic.

If another BL does a season long arc of "our families won't accept us", I'll die of anger and boredom. Coming out isn't the only gay plot that exists...

I wouldn't know about this if you hadn't posted anything. Now I, and many more do. You are literally spreading bad news about him without any consideration to how that harms him.If you start posting everywhere "Tom Hanks doesn't beat up his wife", the takeaway for a lot of people will be that Tom Hanks perhaps beats up his wife, a thought they never had before, hadn't you posted it. You are ruining Saint's moment and his reputation. If he wanted this discussed publicly, he'd release a statement. I know I won't change your mind, I just think that while you intentions are wonderful, your actions are reckless.

Have you ever heard any famous person say that what helped them through a tough situation professionally or personally was gossip blazing up like wildfire on Social Media? I have no idea what you intend to accomplish, but whatever it is, the consequences of that are hurting his public reputation, employability and obfuscating his breakthrough. I don't want to add to that by furthering this conversation, but viral gossip has never helped anybody. Every person screaming "rumours are not true" just spreads those rumours and the number of people who believe them.

You are hurting Saint if you are spreading gossip about him to an international level. Think if you were going through something hard in your life, if you first thought would be "I hope this hard time I am going through makes national news, trends internationally, so I have no privacy to deal with it and get stuck with a reputation just when my breakthrough work is having a good reception".
