i always shake my head whenever i read i review when this person pointed so many flaws and cons, yet still giving a rating of 8.5 and higher

mdl rating is a result of collective judgement and interest. while it might be easier and SEEMS more objective to compare drama/movie based on certain number it is not, in any way, a good measure to know whether its worth watching or not. review is a better way to know if a drama suit your taste or not but then again its hard to find a good review that doesnt reveal too much of story/spoiler. a good old trial and error is still the best way to do it. after watching a certain amount of movie/drama i intuitively would know where and how the story would develop and decide to keep watching it or drop based on things like setting, character, word building, cinematography to a vague things like a mood and vibe (of drama/movie) that i dont know how to explain.

i thinks it is mostly the other way around, people who had watched the manga/prev adaptation usually have higher expectation and demand a more detailed story to fit into a single 2 hours movie. on the other people who hadnt done so are able to watch this movie as it is. fyi im the latter one

yeah eventho everything turned out to be all right we cant say the same about the process but thats why i like it.

no im not saying any mind game story is horor in fact i personally dont think save me or shokuzai is a mind game story.

im not sure whether doctors is any better or not but honestly i didnt get this exciting guilty feeling when watching doctors
