Did anyone notice how the transition from one scene to another is? It looks like you’re watching a power point…
" It looks like you’re watching a power point presentation with the same type of transition." this couldnt be said enough, even if some outro and intro of those timeskip/cutscene feels off, they could at least make the transition more seamless ...... like you know... just any movie out there
not bad but the transition frames bother me more than it should does, somehow it make the movie less engaging. the frequent time skip is just too much and the pace make the suspense/release all feels wrong (if that make sense to any of you lol) and did i mention how we dont have enough time skip ................. (an /s obviously)
i think this would be better if there were no romantic feelings from natsumi but there were from tougo,Natsumi…
the pace is the drama is kinda weird but in the original manga, tougo fell for natsumi first and by the time she realized her feeling for tougo its way past half story, and it really show natsumi conflicting feeling. the live action make it all weird.
i think it will take a lot of talent to screw up an 8 chapter manga adapatation
yeah actor look more mature than togou in the manga, natsumi actress look a bit younger, but haru is way too younger compared to manga and just like you say, "too overly cute and like a kid", while in the manga she is look pretty sad, shy and had a mature face.
"Natsumi too feminine and can not pull the gloomy side of natsumi" i was wondering if that was just me but i think the natsumi in manga feels more unruly, chaotic, a bit carefree too but also serious and really gloomy when she think about her sister, she has a complex emotion. but in the drama natsumi feels more reserved, feminine, and linear expression. also seems like they chopped away some conversation between teen natsumi and teen haru, i think it was quite important to show their relationship in the manga.
but in the end, i couldnt agree more with you, the on thing that annoyed me the most was tougo mother, they couldnt have gone with a subtle freak control type but no they just had to go full dramatic and exaggerated and make her (im borrowing kdrama term here) the stereotypical makjang conglomerate evil mother
hidden gem
