didnt expect i would sit for a 16hrs political drama but actually its quite decent, the political stuffs arent as lame as political plot in other dramas (notoriously the thriller/crime/business and/or stuff like those)

im probably one of the few that dont enjoy the youth story. i think the should focus more on the current timeline and summarize their old feeling in less screentime but in more intense way. they are using the youth timeline too much for fanservice / sweet moment. sigh.

the best romance story is the kind that give you less and leave you wanting more.

wasnt expecting much from the plot or synopsis alone but the execution was great. tho they could do with a cleaner script as it can be a bit confusing during some parts. this kind of story isnt something new but man... i love how both leads are kind of 'nutjob', they dont hesitate taking things to the extreme. i specially like ji soo hyun, shes the kind of cool female character that talk less and do more, the kind that show her feeling and emotion through her action.

whats your point then, almost all drama/movie are fiction anyway. even the non-fiction or story based on real life event have some 'flavor' added into it. being a commercial story doesnt mean it cant have a realism in it. if its sole purpose is commercial then they wont even bother putting the message at the end of each episode, in case you didnt even know about that. if you want something realistic to the point that it is real then there is documentary.

exactly, the plot isnt impossible, its still bound/restrained by real world rule, its not just a concept, its not unreal.

theres a word for that you know, documentary. id be lying if i say this drama doesnt have commercial purpose but nothing forbid a commercial drama from having a realistic theme. idk what you expected but a drama can only get so real but to call it a fantasy is definitely not right. its a whole different genre.
