if they cast an actual fugly no soul would watch it
welp i was saying "an actual" and you said "supposedly to certain viewers", thats the difference but seriously the real problems isnt prak bo young being cast, its that they made no effort to make her looks not or even just less attractive. ive seen dramas/movies where the actress where lot more beautiful than the character they portrayed but not this one. they need to up their make up game.
i, for one, think the moral dilemmas was the strong point of this drama (well untill ep17, thats it). it provoke the viewers to think what wrong to think whats right or wrong or would they do the same. then again, i like drama the provocative plot which im sure not all people do.
The ending is a bittersweet one for me even though both families are happy. I think it was Hyun Cheol 's personality…
imo it was about to be a bittersweet ending but then write come with a big eraser in his hand and said "TAADAA happiness for you happiness for your happiness for everyone *insert oprah meme* " and yeah thats was the most pointless 17 eps of a drama, all those emotions and story gone just like that.
i got a really complicated feeling when watching this drama. i really love how this drama challenge my morals…
time reset bulsht come, all those build up, emotions, impacts and everything are washed away. i swear time reset is the most convenient bulsht plot a story could pull.
this was great yet horrible.. a well balanced bad/good drama, if that makes any sense... they were really messy…
i wouldnt go as far as calling it horrible but yeah they could have use better foreshadowing to make a better connection. i hate it when it make a drama make a show in the dark and at the end they pull whatever out of their ars then say "here the real thing".
i had high hope since this drama won an award. the message was good, in fact there were a lot meaningful messages about time, also the alzheimer was nice. what bother me is the lack of interaction between the reality and her dream. sure there were some emotional/expression hint (like they way he and his wife look at her) but it would be better if they use more event related hint like the anchovies one, he ate anchovies all his life because his mother fed it to him thinking it was good for his bone and now she feed him anchovies again. the anchovies and his leg interlock perfectly. i wish there more foreshadowing like that. for me eps 1-10 and eps 11-12 dont really fit well into a single same puzzle.
