Sometimes i think we all forget how crazy the live shoot schedule is. We maybe expect too much of writers in the…
true, the story might lack some detail n logic but (in the first half) the writer had a good concept on how he was gonna shape the story and what to do next. the later half tho was a whole definition of bad, the story was just running around in circle until it fill all the air time.
i think you gave too much credit to kjh. look im not trying to discredit him here, in fact he did a good job but losing a character prematurely, a main character even more, the writer can only salvage the story so much. this why i like pre-filmed drama, even if something would go wrong, writer, director, (and everyone generally) have more time to think and work around.
the hole story started when Cheon Soo Ho discovered his incurable, deadly brain tumor but then he end up dead…
i dont think him being drowned to death messed up the drama. every death were always unfortunate, tragic, n never intended in the first place, thats the concept of this drama i think and i like this drama for doing it. however, how they handle the story after his dead was bad n draggy.
i like the concept of the story before the whole beach thing, after that things become horribly draggy n not fun anymore. its a shame about the second half because i love that kind of concept (obv i mean the first half) edit: okay i guess i know the reason why this show went downhill
so this drama was about dude trying to build his cult from scratch while in the original one the cult was already bigger and have much power. honestly they should just call it a new show and dont bother with this sequel bs because it give the impression it will be eerie, grim, and depression like the original story while its not. this show is about how different susceptible ppl fell into cult and not so much about the deep-rooted-cult's effect. imo its doing good enough on it own but being a sequel to save me? it just couldnt carry the expectation.
Finally had the chance to complete the first episode and I must say what a mess! They fit too much in one episode,…
the writer made a 'dragon ball' that is way too convenient for their own good, its outta control lmao. you are on point about character building before the death, we know too little about them that me might as well not know about them at all. also yeah i liked the initial comedy too. too bad it turn out like this.
