[caution] a bit ranting, gap dong is the sh**iest version of drama/movie(s) that was based on the same incident, it has the least mystery vibe, so much angst so little thrill.

ikr, i can sympathize with his motive and backstory more than other villains here, also his dialogue really fit his character.
the step mom and sister is really bland and dont even start with the younger brother, his characterization is just suck, like whats up with the sudden change of heart.

fantasy level age gap shouldnt be counted as age gap unless a significant amount of story take place when both leads are visually in a certain amount of age gap.
for example i think its fine to give Goblin age gap tag while korean oddysey and you who came from star shouldnt be given one.

yeah agree, rather than solid plot whats more important is having funny characters and joke that feel natural. the wackier the better as long as the characters dont lose themselves

i would tell you to (re)watch better thirller but im not sure if you find it better
