i never understand second lead syndrome, in fact most of the time i wish the second lead character doesnt exist at all (if you know ichigo100%, i still get trauma from that story). whenver second lead is trying so hard i always feel cringe & sorry for them because in the end it doesnt even matter, shouldnt tried so hard you dont stand a chance. its like a waste of character space.

im not sure about drama but if its movie then Garden of Words (animation) and Hot Road (https://kisskh.at/9612-hot-road) come to my mind.

its good, one of my fav too but the romance doesnt stir your emotion your emotion as much as chugaku where there is a lot more mixed feeling. not too mention the music and cinematography are more gorgeous. im not downgrading i hear your voice, im just saying thats how good this drama is. personally i think it set a new bar for romance drama.

with chugakusei nikki and the smile has left your eye currently airing i just cant take the serious and heartbreaking moment of this drama seriously
still a really good laugh nonetheless

...honestly i wish they would take that low chance surgery more seriously and less miraculously like when he decide to do it everyone would get seriously worried and distressed, some told se gye, she then realized she shouldnt have left him, regretting, proceed to stop him knowing how dangerous it is, and in the end they decide to accept all their circumstances. that way se gye could redeem her action.

i have my share of watching bittersweet ending and this is not a build up that id expect to end with a bittersweet unless something else happen in ep 8/.9
