I guess I am the only one who's actually excited about this pairing. Still wanted Fu Heng to be with Yingluo and FINALLY, they reunited. I've watched other Chinese variety shows with Xu Kai and Jin Yan and their chemistry is actually so adorable. <3

Where did you watch episode 5?

This drama just captivates you from the very beginning. Moon Young's character is indeed one of a kind and I'm totally falling for her recklessness. Nothing can hold her down or push her away. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable. The way they look at each other is already enough to me squeals.
- Man, the feelings of yearning for each episode is coming back to me, how can I handle this!!

DO I REALLY LIKE THE ENDING? Hmmm~ It's sweet that the groom wants the happy moments to themselves obviously but it's a WEDDING MY MAN. Why you gotta play the hide and seek game even at the end lol. [ The wedding outfits are hella beautiful ]
Xue Zhi does act like a leader and have her priorities but after Tou fall off the cliff, the story shifts focus on her being depressed and helplessly chase after Tou, finding ways to expose that Dark Tou is Tou. She lets her emotions takes over her priorities basically. Well, not that I hate it but I feel like there's something about Xue Zhi that's lacking.
- I never one bit question Tou's acting. It was perfect, he catches every single details to make a perfect Tou, just the character that's lacking. I like the beginning Tou a lot with his cheesy and flirty lines lol, but mid Tou was annoying. I just wanna punch him so he can wake up from his nonsense.
- Feng Zi... ?!?! Zzzzz they JUST had to kill off Qing Mei and let Feng Zi lives, why don't you just kill both of them? I feel like it's better that way since it's a happy ending for both. Its a torture for Feng Zi to live as a widow without a husband. I legit don't understand this drama anymore.
- Yeah, the trio are indeed wasted in this drama, I hope they will reunite in another one but don't let my man Ting Wei be a third wheeler. GIVE MY MAN SOME LOVE. Though I doubt they will have another drama together :(
- I haven't watch Princess Silver and I don't think I'll ever intended to, I watch Dragon Sabre only for Yukee and she appear kinda late prob 35+? episode. Her character is pretty fun to watch :)

All his love ones disappeared and if he lives alone without further receiving love is a bigger punishment than death. He needs to live and repent for what he has done. :)

Yeah, do we all have a thing for under eye mole? They looks are hella attractive to me LOL.

I'm always up for discussions, I just didn't know where to start since you usually write a long post about your likes/dislikes on the episodes. LOL.
- I didn't want to say this but I'm really disappointed with this drama. The plot just had so many FLAWS. First off, they just had to kill every side character with absolutely no reason! Just why? They portrayed the villain as a smart man who's very calculative and very careful with his plans but is that really the case? He purposely kills his own father in law and everyone knows it. He claims to love his wife but proceeds to kill her entire family members. I skip most of his scenes so I might not know much about him but through the things I saw, he isn't very smart as it describes him to be.
- Most of the fighting scenes are very cool but there are also many bad fighting scenes that really catch my attention and some are probably due to bad editing. The ones I could remember were the Poison Leader scenes at the beginning and in her Cave. Although Xue Zhi mastered the technique, Lotus Wings? she didn't show her true potential at all. Her fighting scenes ended in less than 5 seconds with some ridiculous moves.
- Tou's character needs serious therapy LOL. Let's end it there.
- I could see Xue Zhi's character developing as she goes through the ups and downs in the martial world though It's still not as impactful as I wanted her to be. She has many responsibilities like restoring the Hall of Flame etc, but the one who does all the work is Mu Yuan and Tou. Xue Zhi just blindly chases after Tou all these times. In the end, she's still not an independent woman. ZZzz
- This drama has a rare case where the 2nd main leads [ Mu Yuan, Feng Zi ] have no relationship development towards each other. They love different people and end up with different people. xDDD??
- Mu Yuan is the perfect man PERIODT.
- Overall, the story was MEH, average but the romance and the chemistry between the main leads are excellent. The kiss scenes could have been better COZ IM A GREEDY MOFO. I hope Yukee and Yunxi reunite for another drama but modern this time so I could see moving lips kisses LOL. Their on and off-screen chemistry are just too cute to handle.
- There's one thing about Yukee that ticks me off. When she cries or about to cry, her eyes start to blink. It keeps happening over and over again and it's ticking me off LOL.

DO YOU WANT MY HONEST OPINION?
HIGH RATING: Mostly because of the casts and their chemistry. Also, there are many people who are still in the process of watching the drama since they just finish releasing the entire series like 2 days ago.
The plot is average, typical, and simple. WHAT SCENES ARE ENTERTAINING YOU MIGHT ASK. YEAH, YOU GUESSED IT, THE MAIN LEADS MOMENTS.
- Many people come here for the casts and I am, too! If you like the casts then I would definitely recommend it because their chemistry is MUAH MUAH, but if not then uh, look at others' reviews then decide it for yourself I guess.

I think I only saw one comment stating that "DON'T WATCH..." and there have been polite comments below saying that people have personal references, etc. Other different opinions are to be respected as well, but there have been many posts regarding Yukee's acting which the same person post more than one post stating the SAME EXACT THING and did not do any research before criticizing someone's performance and I thought it was very rude to just blindly spread hate. I think everyone who frequently comes to this page pretty much respects each other and share their honest opinions with nice inputs.

After this drama, I realized how biased I am for the casts LOL. I've finished the drama with the process of skipping through many scenes. Overall, this drama was only average to below average but I keep the rating high because of the Ashes of Love's casts crew. The TRIO's chemistry was hella on point and I love how sociable they are in the BTS videos. I literally like the BTS videos more than the entire drama.

OMG, I have fallen for you! Your acting sways my emotions every time. You perform an amazing job in both "Ashes of Love" and "And The Winner is Love." I'll look forward to your future projects! I hope you gain as much fame as the effort you put into your acting career!

Ting Wei really like tragic love in dramas. I really want him to be happy for once so I would stop crying for his character. Their separate in Ashes of Love [Capture scene, and marriage scene was heartbreaking] and now this drama. I'm slowly falling in love in Ting Wei and how he portraying the role. I'm looking forward to his future projects but I can't bear to watch another tragedy. :(
- When Yunxi finally have a happy ending but they just had to ruin his character because of the way he dealt with every situation. I understand that his love for Xue Zhi is deep but yeah...
- I feel bad for Yukee, she legit cry so much in this drama.

I get that, but romance is the weakest genre in King Monarch, so comparing the two isn't fair. "And the Winner of Love" focused mainly on the romance between the main leads, but I do agree that their bonds are unbreakable. Their love is beautifully portrayed. They are willing to sacrifice and go to great measures for each other. That is only possible if the main leads have a great chemistry. :D

Okai, you compare it to the WRONG drama. King Monarch romance was BAD. No one was please of the romance development in King Monarch.

We all come here for the main leads. There's no way I would stick to this drama till the end if it weren't for them. I agree that Xue Zhi handles the situation better than Tou. All Tou ever does was to bear the burden alone while Xue Zhi willing to go through hardships and share the burden with Tou. He legit has no character development. He's still the same old Tou since the beginning where he just does everything alone and afraid of getting hurt or hurting others. This time, he would just silently protect Xue Zhi instead of explaining what exactly happens. He's afraid of losing her yet still push her away for the 3RD FKING TIME. I WAS SO DONE. This couple has cried more than they ever smile.

We speculate that Mu Yuan will turn dark at some point in the drama but little did we know it was all a pretense and a motive to bring Lord Lu down. I literally shed all my tears for Mu Yuan from episode 32 onwards. The moment when Xue Zhi found out the truth and Mu Yuan stood up the stairs and overheard their conversation was heartbreaking. They went home and has a serious talk then Mu Yuan said "What about me?." The way he said the sentence was deep and has me crying. :( Mu Yuan is literally the best character in this entire drama and we all know why <3.
This life, he lives to be Xue Zhi's guardian. Next life, I hope someone will be Mu Yuan's guardian.
