After this drama, I realized how biased I am for the casts LOL. I've finished the drama with the process of skipping through many scenes. Overall, this drama was only average to below average but I keep the rating high because of the Ashes of Love's casts crew. The TRIO's chemistry was hella on point and I love how sociable they are in the BTS videos. I literally like the BTS videos more than the entire drama.

OMG, I have fallen for you! Your acting sways my emotions every time. You perform an amazing job in both "Ashes of Love" and "And The Winner is Love." I'll look forward to your future projects! I hope you gain as much fame as the effort you put into your acting career!

Ting Wei really like tragic love in dramas. I really want him to be happy for once so I would stop crying for his character. Their separate in Ashes of Love [Capture scene, and marriage scene was heartbreaking] and now this drama. I'm slowly falling in love in Ting Wei and how he portraying the role. I'm looking forward to his future projects but I can't bear to watch another tragedy. :(
- When Yunxi finally have a happy ending but they just had to ruin his character because of the way he dealt with every situation. I understand that his love for Xue Zhi is deep but yeah...
- I feel bad for Yukee, she legit cry so much in this drama.

I get that, but romance is the weakest genre in King Monarch, so comparing the two isn't fair. "And the Winner of Love" focused mainly on the romance between the main leads, but I do agree that their bonds are unbreakable. Their love is beautifully portrayed. They are willing to sacrifice and go to great measures for each other. That is only possible if the main leads have a great chemistry. :D

Okai, you compare it to the WRONG drama. King Monarch romance was BAD. No one was please of the romance development in King Monarch.

We all come here for the main leads. There's no way I would stick to this drama till the end if it weren't for them. I agree that Xue Zhi handles the situation better than Tou. All Tou ever does was to bear the burden alone while Xue Zhi willing to go through hardships and share the burden with Tou. He legit has no character development. He's still the same old Tou since the beginning where he just does everything alone and afraid of getting hurt or hurting others. This time, he would just silently protect Xue Zhi instead of explaining what exactly happens. He's afraid of losing her yet still push her away for the 3RD FKING TIME. I WAS SO DONE. This couple has cried more than they ever smile.

We speculate that Mu Yuan will turn dark at some point in the drama but little did we know it was all a pretense and a motive to bring Lord Lu down. I literally shed all my tears for Mu Yuan from episode 32 onwards. The moment when Xue Zhi found out the truth and Mu Yuan stood up the stairs and overheard their conversation was heartbreaking. They went home and has a serious talk then Mu Yuan said "What about me?." The way he said the sentence was deep and has me crying. :( Mu Yuan is literally the best character in this entire drama and we all know why <3.
This life, he lives to be Xue Zhi's guardian. Next life, I hope someone will be Mu Yuan's guardian.

Before criticizing someone, at least LOOK carefully and OBSERVE with your EYES.

I know most of us are watching because of the Main Leads and I am, too. I honestly wouldn't even bother finishing this drama if it weren't for them. The beginning was great and the continuous meeting between Xue Zhi and Tou/ their moments together makes my heart flutters every time. Everything was going well until it becomes a repetition. The purpose of misunderstandings is to make the bonds stronger, realizing their love with the time that they are apart, communications, trust, honesty but I guess that wasn't the case for this drama. Instead, it's the opposite. It became a push and pull game all over again. I love Yunxi and Yukee but their characters are just a big disappointment.

I really want to love and praise this drama but I just couldn't. The plot was plain, the villain was dumb. They just had to kill every side character for no reason. I become disinterested in the plot halfway through. To be honest, it was quite boring to the point where I had to skip to Mu Yuan, Xue Zhi, Tou's moments. There's literally nothing INTERESTING or any PLOT TWISTS that keep the viewers on their seats.
Lord Lu's to his wife: "Darling, I love you, but I kill your whole family." POG.

The only real man is Mu Yuan. He's literally my favorite character. <33

MU YUAN is such a beautiful character that just steals the spotlight for me. Ting Wei did such an AMAZING JOB portraying this character!
How can there be such an idiot [GOOD KIND] like him who's willing to do ANYTHING for XUE ZHI?? Mu Yuan works with Lord Lu for a good cause but people misunderstood him! The Hall of Flame even cut ties with him. THAT SCENE BREAKS MY HEART! THAT'S THE ONLY HOME HE HAS!! HE EVEN SACRIFICE HIS LIFE FOR XUE ZHI IN THE END! U DUMMY! q---q
He always thinks of others before himself. Never selfish, Never hold on, Never forced anything that doesn't belong to him. He never makes it hard on Xue Zhi. Everything he has done isn't for himself but to benefit Xue Zhi.

LOL, same. I was really looking forward to this drama because of the Ashes of Love casts. It started out really well which got me hook in the beginning. The chemistry of the Ashes of Love's TRIO [ Yukee, Ting Wei, Yun xi ] is really top notch, but the plot is so bland. I slowly lost interest in the story and just skip skip skip skip to their part. I don't even care if I don't understand what's going on, I just care about the TRIO.

I'm really impatient so that could be the reason why I'm ready to just give up. I'm getting really frustrating by the way they thinks and their protection of each other.
- I'M NOT MISSING THEM ONE BIT EITHER. I just never seen a main character like Feng Zi who legit has little to no screen time. Even her MASTER has more screen time than her. LOL.

YO, IQIYI really know how to make money LOL. As much as I want to support the drama. This way of supporting feels kinda wrong as it not only benefiting the drama but IQIYI it self as well. Like you need to get VIP membership, then upgrade it and there's option to BUY the episodes. HMM. INTERESTING SYSTEM.

The main focus of IQIYI is always money. I think the content can't be view with just normal VIP but there's an EXTRA VIP option to watch the full release episodes [ I could be wrong ]. It's kinda funny. If they were to release the episodes on their website then they might as well release it on the international IQIYI. They should have known that there are many international viewers who yearn for each episode every day. I think that IQIYI couldn't sub the remaining episodes in many different languages at once for us.

Yeah. I can't wait to see how the story unfold.
- I CAN FINALLY SEE THE CLIFF SCENE LOL, and the reunion between Zhi and Tou.
- I'm kinda curious as to where Qing Mei ran off to. This boy legit gone ever since Feng Zi cancel the marriage. Feng Zi is one of the main lead but she rarely appears, too.
- I was on edge of giving up on this drama and just watch their sweet scenes later. I legit couldn't understand how the misunderstandings lasted for SO LONG. ROMANCE DRAMA| 48 EPISODES | but their moments together isn't even 1/3 of the series. :(

I think IQIYI for international will upload like always, Thurs-Sun. Sadly. Other websites will download and re-upload the content though.

Yeah!!! I've watch so many historical dramas where the kiss scenes felt like nothing. They just legit touch each other's lips and move their head side to side.
- I feel like it's the matter of Modern and Historical dramas although there are some exceptions like Eternal Love, The Eternal Love, etc. In Modern Chinese dramas, they kissed more passionately with one's upper lips kissing the lower lips. They open their mouths and cooperate with each other unlike the kisses that I witness in this drama. It makes me sad to see my OTP not feeling it YA KNOW?
- I think work is still work, you shouldn't put your personal relationship in the way of your work and makes the audience feel uncomfortable. But I guess yeah, CHINESE INDUSTRY AMIRITE. I guess if I want passionate kisses, I'll just go enjoy some Korean Dramas. ALTHOUGH I REALLY WANT YUKEE AND YUNXI TO HAVE BETTER KISS SCENES COZ I REALLY LOVE THEM TOGETHER. :D
