Everyone is different. Do you not ever judge a drama based on its rating or watch a certain drama because of the actors themselves? I know I do...
As I said, I guess you're different than everyone else but objectively speaking, people do rate a drama and it ranks #1 or #2 on most Chinese websites because of the actors themselves and not the drama plot. Of course, this becomes an issue because there are better plot lines and story than "The Wolf." You would think this drama is good but honestly, does it deserve its ranking/popularity? The actors/ actresses? Yes. The plotline? No way.
I don't understand what you are trying to say here. Are you trying to prove that the statement is false? or expressing the false information because it doesn't justify your moral of drama ratings? He/she is speaking that generally, everyone is biased. I'm glad that you're not biased when watching a drama and rate it with honesty but not everyone is like that :)

I agree with you. Although everyone is different there are still those that biased the rating towards the actors instead of the plot/story itself.
I personally think this drama would be a big flop and wouldn't be on #1 of most Chinese websites if it weren't for the actors/actresses themselves. The number of immature love plots/nonsense has completely disappointed me to further watch even for the actors. :l

I waited so long for the day that this drama premiered, but it failed to meet my expectations. "The Wolf" was only portrayed at the beginning of the drama and it never really showcase anymore. Prince Bo became a cold-hearted General and the King's dog with characteristics of a wolf but... yeah no, the plotline is weak IMO *Sigh* The number of misunderstandings and push and pull is getting on my nerves. The beginning was interesting, a cute Wolf boy with a kind heart meeting a smart girl in the mountain, their love blossom. Her intelligence was showcased into proving that the Wolf is innocent, but everything literally fell apart later. King Bo really thinks that treating Zhai Xing horribly will surely protect her, this plot is too outdated. I didn't watch many episodes to further complain about my dissatisfaction but so far, it's literally a disappointment.

It depends on your FL ideal type. In this specific Cdrama, the female lead is very naïve because of the environment that she was raised in, and the "Unfeeling Pill". She won't be able to recognize the feeling of love or loving someone therefor, her character development won't be happening until later episodes. Although she's naive, her character is cute and funny and the chemistry between her and the ML is undeniable.

Moon Chae Won did a splendid job in "Flower of Evil." She really deserves to be awarded :(

I really like Chen Zhe Yuan and always looked forward to his work. The costumes are so beautiful in this drama but damn, that bangs on the female lead is kinda annoying LOL. Is this drama worth it? Heard it was bad mostly due to the Editing since they cut the series in half.

Yuan Lang [Vice Master of Lize Palace] lips/smile is a wholeass mood. Legit can't bear to hate him.
And Mr. FLYING SNAKE's funny and cute at the same time. Fav character so far, especially when he's with GREEN DRAGON :D

Of course, the plot line is completely different from AoL but the (some) characters/settings are pretty similar to each other. Yeah, The audience can actually sympathize and love Night Immortal despite his actions because of his character portrayal early in the drama and his pitiful past, but Mr. HAO CHEN over here is selfish AF. I think we all pretty much hate this character [I love the actor though].In conclusion, I think both drama made up 80% of misunderstandings and so much angst.
Overall, AoL is my all time fav, and I am enjoying this drama as well :>

Tell me that this isn't Ashes of Love 2.0 LOL. I'm only on episode 20 but there are too many similarities. The Heavenly Realm is pretty much identical and the love line is the same as well [If you watch Ashes of Love then you'll know what I mean].

Yo, the stooges that know the right time to leave legit make this drama 100% more enjoyable than it is. The main couple is a reunion therefor their chemistry is unquestionable. I also enjoy the 2nd couple. Their meetings and "fall-in-love" is so pure and innocent. <3

There's going to be a remake of the original Taiwan drama? My Lucky Star is one of my favorite childhood dramas and YOU SAY THERE'S GOING TO BE A REMAKE? HYPE.

I started this drama mostly for Lulu Xuan. The drama is indeed my liking but Liu Yin Jun as Zhao Yuan Fang stole the whole show for me. His acting and character just made the show more enjoyable to watch than just a typical romance with the main leads.

Why are you being so rude to other co-stars when BaiLu withdrew from the drama? I honestly think Jin Yan is one of the most beautiful actresses in the Chinese industry. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to beauty but that doesn't mean you have to disrespect other people like that. Do you look for beauty in dramas or how they portray their role and act? Many posts of yours here are so rude and if you don't like the casting, I hope you stop coming to this page instead of making rude comments.

Please tell me that Lulu Xuan and Yu Chen are actually a couple or else ima FLOP.

He's main purpose is to be a friend that will leave a big impact on his children's life and how their future will played out now that he's their classmate. As a 37 years old father, he doesn't know anything about his children which he thought that he did. He's encouraging them to be strong and follow their dreams instead of hesitating each moment.

I didn't think I'd like this drama but every episode just had me sobbing not because it's sad but the portrayal of a loving parent is so beautiful that it makes me cry. Lee Do Hyun really pours his best for this drama and he absolutely nails it. I'M IN LOVE!

Ikr? Everything happen so suddenly, no one is going to be like "Damn that sucks" and move on so fast. They can be blinded at the moment and just need some time to realized what they are doing. People should really look at other people's perspective instead of jumping into the conclusion so fast. No one is going to be wise as to forgive and forget so quickly. Everyone has their own personality as to getting angry, feeling lost and confused.
