I keep reading that Joo Won, suffers from hallucination what do y’all think about it?
I saw theory that mentioned that Dong SHik only ever does that weird maniacal laugh when Joo Won is there to witness it. It could just be that we are seeing things from HJW's perspective, and he's seeing things in an exaggerated manner because of his negative opinion of DS.
I found this show a few days before it was going to air and my immediate reaction was... KAIROS?? It's seemed like a gender-flipped Kairos from the description. Father talks to a woman in past to save daughter--->daughter talks to a man in past to save father. The big thing is that it hasn't been long since Kairos ended, this just felt like a terrible choice on OCN's part.
I just about dropped it at episode 1 because the whole thing felt choppy and amateurish, but episode 2 had some details that make me think this is going to be interesting.
For now, main direction is a big chase. And along the way, you get more meaning via flashback, what was the ML…
I understand what you mean, but the past they are revealing is exactly what I would have expected. There's nothing much to look forward to so far, everything they reveal is SUPER expected. Bet the forensic doctor being involved with human research or at least interested is going to be up next.
I'm still watching this because there's not much on rn and LDH, but.... If you really think about it, is there even any plot going on here? There's a good reason that the plot description is just character descriptions, so far the show is just the main character getting chased around and fight scenes.
I mean even awaken had some mystery to the main character's situation that made it worth looking forward to, this one you just show up and look at Z-0 blast shit and Gu Reum get her ass beat.
I sometimes have difficulty accepting, KDY is just 23 years old. I mean he is handsome, talented actor but he…
I went and looked who key was and.... what.... he's so good! His roles are always well done, not something I'd expect from someone barely 2 years older than me
It's the 'half monster', the one who Hyun Su tried to kill with his wing-arm. You can tell cause of the voice…
Like I said, he has the ability to change bodies. His true form is that of a weird red slime? blood? like thing. He can enter peoples bodies and take over that way. He took over the gangster's body. The guy at the end has the same voice as mr. monster.
If you mean that the actor is different from the gangster, it's not. I think he might just look different because he's cleaned up compared to his normal messy appearance.
What mental process did they go through to offer this role to Kim Seon Ho AND Lee Joon Gi AND Lee Jae Wook? They are not alike whatsoever, why on earth would you offer a role like this to such vastly different actors? Joon Gi suits complicated and intense roles, which is very opposed to Seon Ho who is great at portraying softer characters. All amazing actors, but there is no way every single one of them suits a single role.
Also just from the plot of this, it doesn't seem like anything that Joon Gi should even be considered for.... It feels like they did this for publicity.
I'm so confused about the timeline! It takes 15 days to... fully turn into a monster, and they were waiting to…
I agree. For a show so heavily reliant on the passage of time they made a huge mistake glossing over it. They should have showed the date at some point so things would be clearer.
I hadn't thought of the fact that his arm changed because the 15 days were up, I just assumed it was because he was so stressed out that he fused with the curse. If there is a season 2 he will probably evolve and explore that ability more. The snow was the last thing that made me think it was long past 15 days, but it is possible that the weather was messed up due to all the fires chaos.
Also on the connivence store, I think its possible if you consider that there were a good 15-20 people and that they had just started to run low on food. They weren't completely out, and the main concern was the loss of access to water, which was the reason they tried to leave before the fire fighter came in.
The ballerina didn't just have a sprained ankle, I think it was probably a torn ligament or something more serious. When she told the Bass girl about her story it seemed that it was a serious issue that permanently caused a problem with her ability to perform.
Hopefully if they do a season 2 they will do a better job with this.
i just finished this and i feel like it's so fast paced (or is it only me?). i haven't read the webtoon, so some…
Infection- When a person has a really strong desire a 'monster' awakens inside them and they start hearing it's voice. I think it asks them if what they want, and if the person gives in they completely transform. If they don't give in, they gain powers after 15 days.
Guy at the end - It's the other half monster, the one Hyun Su tried to kill with his wing-arm. You can tell cause of his voice when he speaks at the end. He possessed the gangster's body like he possessed the convenience store lady's body earlier.
Season 2 hasn't been confirmed or anything, but if they do end up making it, it'll no longer be based on the Webtoon. Season 1 already covered the Webtoon.
Can anyone tell me who in the world was that at the end who had Cha Hyun Soo in the truck.: )))

It was already 15 days past around the middle of the drama, they just never clarified it. The convenience store lady who turned near the end was already at 10 days when she was locked up, and a lot seemed to have happened by that point so I'd think more than 5 days had passed since the monsters showed up. Also the fire fighter lady had gone out and come back, that should also have taken sometime.
The passage of time is messy. There's a vibe that a while has passed since everyone has calmed down and formed plans to deal with monsters, but it's unclear how much time has actually passed despite the passage of time being important for the plot.
I am so pissed and I feel like rambling: I will not stand for anyone forgetting the manipulative, almost abusive…
Not even twice, its way more. First her father (justified), then her friend at the orphanage, then Seo Jin (multiple times), then she tried to goad Do Hyun into killing the limping guy, I'm pretty sure she wanted Aeri dead at somepoint... I bet there are way more and few she even got away with. At first I was on her side that she felt cornered or what not but when her father talked about the girl at the orphanage-- she just seems sociopathic.
IT'S A COMEDY!!!! Similar vibes to Extraordinary You, they even have guest appearance here. I guess it makes sense since they have the same director.
This did NOT disappoint!! I almost dropped ut after the first episode just because it was so abysmal. Normally I have a 2 or 4 episode rule before dropping, but the webtoon was too disappointing. I saw scenes from the show on TikTok I decided to give it a try because it looked like it was going in a different direction than the webtoon with an entirely different vibe. So glad I did!
LEE YI KYUNG!!!! I've loved all of his roles, he's super versatile. It's always a fun time watching his shows. I was hoping he would start getting main roles since he did such a good job in Children of Nobody, but a strong second lead is still better than a secondary character.
I quite like L and Nara as well, so I will def be tuning in!
I loved the webtoon in the beginning but I'm not sure if there's enough material in there to make an engaging drama. At best I can imagine it being like a web drama with idol stars. I'm kinda curious so I will be check it out anyhow!
