I'm worried that he's too focused on the aunt/uncle/cousins as culprits. The old man keeps telling him not to trust anyone and I'm not sure he's taken it to heart. Honestly, I'm worried that its the Grandma and he's gonna slip up and say something to her.
Just finished episode 7 and I'm confused about something, Did the ML get the new seoul city construction job or…
He's doing pretty well, even at that point. He ends up getting the construction job. They don't specifically say how much money he has, but soon enough Miracle will become one of the top investment firms in the country. He also starts getting his revenge on the family and taking over some of their subsidiaries soon.
EP 10: I genuinely think Grandma is behind the crash. She seems to be brewing in anger because of the way HER kids and grandkids are falling at the hands of her husband's bastard grandchild. She admitted that she doesn't particularly pity or love Do Joon's dad for his lack of a mother, she just PRETENDS to accept him to save face for everyone.
There is no way a woman who puts on such a strong facade, a woman who has such a strong standing in the cesspool that is the Soonyang family, would stand aside and see her blood loose everything.
its amazing how people take a tv show way to literal. this generation has gone soft. am pretty sure you know that…
Use your eyes and look at what I replied to. Matter of fact, use your head and remember what you typed to get a response. "the show is FICTIONAL......all its depictions are based on real events but are entirely fictional on its own"...
Well I told you it wasn't fictional, and you said asked what happened and if the animal died. I told you it died.
So what's your problem? Did I TELL you to google everything you watch? No, I told you you could find more info on the matter on google if you wanted to know more.
I don't watch the show. I replied to you because it seemed like you were misunderstanding what everyone was upset about. All anyone here is asking for is consequences for the people in charge of the inhumane treatment of some poor helpless animal.
The jackass director wasn't going to starve in the streets just because he didn't get a realistic shot of a horse falling, there was an alternative here. The excuse about "have to make money" doesn't work for situations like this, that poor horse died torturously for nothing but cruelty and carelessness.

Yeah, the horse died a slow torturous death because of a stunt. It caused a lot of outrage when it happened, you can find some more in depth articles of the situation if you google the show.

If anyone wants to read the novel this is based on: go to novelupdates and lookup The Beginning. A translator is currently working on it and the links to the chapters are posted there.
It is impressive that though half of the planet was after Kim Gwang Il for killing about 30+ women ( both police…
The whole premise of the movie is that they CAN'T shoot him, even though they have multiple chances to do so. They've known all along that it was him killing these women, he's not some criminal mastermind who keeps getting away without leaving evidence. Even when he was pulling that nonsense in NK, they knew it was him. He has been under the watch of government officials since he left NK, and we found out has also killed female officers in various countries.
He has vital information and money that the CIA wants, which is why they are protecting him and keep carting him to different countries. That's why they don't shoot him.
Is he in close enough physical proximity to get shot? Yes. Will it have serious repercussions? Also yes.
putting it on hold because its kind of ... boring ? don't know if its just me but
Agree. They gave this a documentary kinda vibe which does not work with the subject matter and genre the plot is following. They completely butchered what could have been the best show of 2021.
With the most recent episode, my new theory is that BR is the headhunter's actual son. The frontal lobe doesn't house memories, meaning that the memories he's seeing are his own. Second, the DNA test and the scene with him seeing a picture of him in kindergarten. Makes me think there's something going on there, maybe he was switched at an older age?
I saw someone say that BR is a psychopath and has been pretending all along. With the memory loss, he forgot what he was actually like and is mistaking YH's empathy and kindness as himself. Since the show is about making a killer feel bad about their actions, I think this is a pretty good theory.
Alternatively, things are exactly as they look and BR is the kind one and YH is the killer, which IMO is unlikely because of the DNA test
I don't think that's the point why people are angry. It's because of the brain transplant itself, no matter who…
I agree about the brain thing, but I've been seeing comments about people being upset that Yo Han is the killer, that's what I was referring to. And it's pretty obvious that he is NOT the killer IMO, we're only half way through, no way they revealed the actual killer.
everyone is getting ahead of themselves thinking that the drama has concluded Yo Han as the killer. From the preview of ep 10, they are going to figure out it wasn't just him and there is more to this story coming and we're gonna get the info hinted at by the DNA paper.

Completely wasted the cast, setting, and plot.
