I think the train crosses between worlds when you are most desperate. The train that connected worlds A & B started moving between them when the chief was most desperate. Do Won was able to access it when he was desperate enough to kill himself.
Once the train was scrapped from world B, and since it already had been removed from world A with the closing of the Mukyeong station, the two worlds can no longer be connected. But the train does still exist in other realities, and once Do Won was desperate enough to try and kill himself once again, the train from World C connected to World B and he was able to leave.
I'm guessing Seo Kyeong was able to join him because she realized from the Chief's ramblings about her son's death dates that it was desperation that allowed her to cross.
Woah!!! I just now completed ep 11 and I was really confused about that suicide scene and a new skeleton at river...…
There's nothing I love more than theorizing. even better if they come true, cause that's usually a sign that the show is well plotted and the hints are well thought out. Or that they suck super bad and everything is very obvious. It's the first case for Train tho, luckily
WORLD C!!! I'm so happy that this story hasn't concluded at there being only 2 worlds, cause so far there hasn't been any reason for there to only be 2. Also, I felt kinda underwhelmed with the chief being the big bad, but honestly, ep 11 justified it. Her travelling between worlds just to stop her son from being outed as a murderer felt kinda... Idk, flat (?) It's more understandable since she's actually seen him die and killed her world B self to be with him. Also the world A chief and her son's story also kinda helps solidify world C's chief somehow. Maybe it's not just once she's seen her son reach a bad end, there could be many other worlds where shes tried other things.
That thought really justifies her desperation for me.
We do know who was disposing the bodies via the train. In the very early episodes, Seo Kyung's stepbrother from…
not really. that's never really clarified and only implied and it wouldn't make sense for the henchman to be in on such a big secret when the big bad is clueless. but you may be right, maybe there is no one left who's traveling through the train other than do won
Is there any development in our leads relationship? I mean are they friends or something. I don't mind spoilers.
In the B world she's now friends with him and trusts him. I don't think there's gonna be a profession of love out of her before the end, though there might be some hints of romance at best
The psychiatrist is a killer, but he's not the serial killer we've been looking for. because he doesn't know there…
tbh we don't know if the person travelling between worlds is a serial killer. we just kinda assumed that. I mean they obviously killed seo kyung from world A but other than that we just know that they're dumping bodies in the other place.
Theory: The most recent episode when we saw the young psychiatrist we saw that his mom gave him the necklace. We know for sure that he's the killer but we don't know who was on train or whos been transporting the bodies to the other world. Now, the only reason to put the bodies in World A is to hide the crime taking place from World B. Since the psychiatrist doesn't know about World A... the only other person who has reason to do that is his mom. And the only older lady in the show is the chief....
It's possible that shes travelling between worlds, in World A her son is dead so Do Woon never found out about it despite being super close. In World B, Do Woon wasn't that close so it didn't come up.
Idk if she would have the capacity to kill Seo Kyung of World A tho, thats the only thing thats making me doubt this.
I watched first episode and it didn't attract me much should I give other aired eps a go before dropping it completely??…
Watch till ep 3, drop after that if you don't like it. For me that was the point where I decided this was a 10/10 show. The tone of that episode gave me confidence that the show wouldn't sizzle out, once a crazy incident was over, its time for another one.
Preview shows that his wife thinks he's been kidnapped and the watch was dropped by the murderer, she goes to…
The one where the obese kid fell down the stairs because of a dog but he lied and said that his dad pushed him cause he knew that his dad was poisoning his mom cause he wanted to marry his doctor mistress.
holy sh*t Lee Joon Gi is knocking this character out of the park!!! at the 24th minute when he met the wife of…
Preview shows that his wife thinks he's been kidnapped and the watch was dropped by the murderer, she goes to rescue him like in the opening scene. I think this ties in really nicely with the first case of the poisoned wife who refused to see her husbands true face.
Personally, this drama is more than just the serial killer. The plot also revolves around the characters' choices…
Completely agree that the show is more than the serial killer plot. However it is still the central plot, and unless the detectives case provides some insane clues towards it, they'll have spent valuable time on a side plot. The reason I'm worried about the pacing is because of Team Bulldog. That show was absolutely awesome but it was paced too slow. So when the ending rolled around, it felt too abrupt. A 12 ep show is great! 365 Repeat the year was awesome because the writer knew to speed things up.
But I believe in Yoon Shi Yoon and I'm gonna stick until the end!
Why are the ratings so low? They haven't broken through 1.5 and we're already halfway through the show! But if I'm honest it kinda worries me that this drama is paced like 16 ep show. Not a lot of leeway has been made in regards to the serial killer case, and now they are also focusing on the detectives case. I've got a sinking feeling...
Why is he adamant on saying that his "father is a Killer"?! A single piece of necklace can't be a definite proof…
He's not??? Neither one of the Do Wons think that their father is the killer. He doesn't try to defend his father in front of Seo Kyung because the topic is sensitive. Like the girl literally tried to kill herself and she hates Do Won and his fathers guts. He doesn't have any evidence to even bring that up.
Every time I pick up a Ji Chang Wook drama I feel like his agent hates him. He's an amazing actor but every since Healer it's like he's hit a serious stroke of bad luck. K2 was straight ass, Melting Me Softly was choppy, and his most recent drama is being shat on for being 'controversial' (won't speak bout the other stuff, but that blackface best friend is seriously messed up).
