I'm surprised so many people like Dae Oh. I find him so annoying. He is such a manchild. I hated that scene where…
Dae Oh is the only character who does something. He may be annoying but the plot only moves forward if he makes it move forward by taking action. The rest of the characters are just 'there' being useless and with completely disjointed sideplots.
Ok. Ryujin and Yeonwoo can hold hands and jump off the cliff together. Two annoying brats.
If Yeonwoo doesn't know what happened between AJ/DO he has to stop making stupid assumptions and MIND HIS OWN DAMN BUSINESS. Stick to looking pretty and being boring, that's his forte.
Ryujin is the worst type of (non-)friend. The kind that has no courage to admit their bad choices and blames their mistakes on the friend that was loyal to them, and the kind that secretly covets what the other friend has because he never had the guts to fight for it himself. Simply the worst kind.
Yeah, I don't like how YW treats his mom. She just wants to know what's going on his life, yet he refuses to even…
My biggest issue with the character is his lack of professionalism. I started disliking him when he moved into AJ's house without asking for her permission. Like AJ pointed out, he's HN's teacher and his actions are gonna affect her directly. Not happy with that, he freaking flirts with AJ in the middle of a parents' meeting! She's a single mother in South Korea and those parents are out for her blood. They'll make her life impossible if they find out that the teacher of their children lives with the mother of a student and that he has a close relationship with her. There will be rumours about HN and speculations about YN/AJ and whether the teacher is playing favorites. All these things will make AJ's life far more complicated... He's just so irresponsible.
I've noticed many people have started disliking YW, so I'm not alone. I can't stand him!!! He's so nosy and invasive. I just hate his guts and use the FF button when he's on my screen. From the preview I can tell that he won't mind his own business AGAIN and bring more unnecessary drama AGAIN. Plus, his mother. We don't have the rich mamma drama with DO, so YW will provide it. UGH. He's such an unnecessary character.
Nice try, shrugging off the long awaited meeting between the daughter & Oh Dae as totally casually, "oh hey there".…
Yup. Now AJ guilt tripped DO, he won't ask about HN anymore. The story will probably change the focus for a few episodes and after that, we'll find out who the dad is. All hell will break loose during those episodes and HN will resent AJ a lot.
Am I the only person who is angry at the female lead after this episode? She left DO without telling him why and decides to use those reasons as bait to make him do what she wants... That's what happened, right? If it had been a guy doing the same everyone would be calling him out and claiming it's manipulation.
Let's be real, she owes him an apology. She left him behind without an explanation. Why does he have to do what she wants to get what he deserves? Why is the drama acting like he never bothered to find out her side of the story when the episode started when he asked her why she'd left him? Yeah, of course he doesn't know the other side. He doesn't know it because she doesn't want to tell him unless he does what she wants...
And if Hanee is his daughter and she never bothered to look for him... I don't even want to consider that.
Am I the only one rooting for Oh dae oh? And he has more chances on being the father of her child too.
Nope. I'm rooting for DO too. Ugh this feels like GBC times, but this time there are 3 Nam Gils!! Whatever, I want to see DO's character development and how he and AJ find their way back to each other. I want to see how his relationship with Hanee evolves too.
While watching Waikiki, I seriously thought he was the ML from Haeundae Lovers. Am I the only one who thinks he…
No, you're not the only one. In his debut days, he was considered "the next Kim Woo bin" because he used to look like KWB, but after CLOY Knets say he looks like Kim Kang Woo. His looks change a lot from one drama to another.
The second episode was entertaining. I don't mind predictable storylines as long as they are well written. Don't give me unpredictable stories with no build-up or logic behind them because that just makes me angry. This one seems predictable but fun, so I'm totally into it. Absolutely anticipating next episode!
it's really interesting to me how some people are portraying juri as this villanous character and hate her so…
Thank you! I like JR too. I think there is some kind of misunderstanding between her and MY, because JR seems sad about their failed friendship. I don't get the hate tbh. She looked so vulnerable when she was talking to her mom and, later, when she asked GT not to make her feel pathetic. It felt very authentic and heartbreaking.
OMG this is actually so good? I started it with zero expectations and I'm so happy with it. The story is so well crafted and I haven't felt the need to FF yet. I really like how some stereotypes are subverted here. The witty dialogues and the well-paced dynamic are such a treat. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a C-drama this much.
This drama was so bad that it made me wish there was an actual number with which I could express how much I disliked it. I truly wasted my time. Thank God for the FF button. 0/10 (And I'm being generous)
Honestly, this season was a massive disappointment. I gave it a shot because I was hoping the story would be as fun as the one in s1, but I barely laughed at all during the 16 episodes. I FF multiple times and even then, I kept waiting for the pace to pick up because I wanted the scenes to be more dynamic. I mean, seriously, even the sound effects were not as good as the previous ones.
I respect these actors and think they are really good, but they barely made me laugh (except Lee Yi Kyung). Maybe it's because their acting is more understated? I don't know. It kind of felt like the writers were trying to replace the old characters and make a lighter version of s1 with the new ones. It did not work for me.
I also didn't feel the chemistry of the cast as an ensemble or between the couples. The heart of the story on s1 was baby Sol. How she became a part of the Waikiki family was what made that season so heartwarming and endearing. That cosy & heartwarming feeling wasn't there this season. The new guesthouse was more modern but it also felt colder for that reason.
I don't know. I wanted to feel differently, but I can't. This season just missed the mark for me.
He mentioned how his friends (EXO's Suho, Byun Yohan, Park Jumin, Song Sang-eun, Jung Yeonju and Lim Jiyeon) supported and helped him when he was going through depression. He's very grateful for everything they did. Kim Junmyeon (EXO's Suho) watched all the episodes of "Crash Landing On You" and gave KJH positive feedback and praise. AWWW! He did the same when KJH was in School 2017. Wonder how he finds the time to watch the dramas though. #friendshipgoals
Kim Jung Hyun also mentions that he's very grateful because his agency has received a lot of scripts after CLOY. He'll take a short break before reviewing them, and then, he'll choose his next project. I'm not even surprised because he killed it as GSJ.
"The director, Lee Junghyo, and writer, Park Jieun, were the ones who helped with Kim Jung Hyun's return... He was a risky choice for the PD and the writer, but he became a 'win-win' for everyone thanks to the perfection that was his Gu Seungjun"
Imagine being handpicked by a super popular writer like PJE! That's really something. He was given the script and he didn't even have to audition because the director, the writer, and one of the members of the production team had already chosen him for the role. Another thing, the scene when he tears the boarding pass with his teeth was his idea. He had to tear the BP with his hands, but he suggested the changes to the director to make the scene more memorable. Smart boy.
What I liked about the drama the most was the North Korean aspect and the relationships between the characters…
LOL. That's funny. There are articles about Kim Jung Hyun's amazing acting every day. They even call him one of the "emerging Kdrama Gods" in South Korea and knets were infuriated with the ending of his character. His name trended on Naver for a whole day.

2) Dae Oh/Hanee scenes and PD and his child saved the episode.
3) I hope YW sees AJ/DO kissing and jumps off the nearest cliff. Is that too mean? I don't care. What an annoying brat!! XS
