I personally think we don't need to stick to the original plot, i trust the actors, as long as the plot is reasonable…
I just finished watching 10 episodes of this, not gonna spoil you but so far so good. All your worries are covered, I'd say they did the remake pretty well and the synopsis is not accurate.
I watched 10 episodes in one sitting, so far so good! -- coming from a person that has watched 4 different versions of the same story, I can say they did the remake pretty well!
I personally think we don't need to stick to the original plot, i trust the actors, as long as the plot is reasonable…
i think there will be a ballerina girlfriend and a warm second male lead, if you look at the casting, they casted someone that has the exact vibes as the original TW drama.
I just watched ep12 too! I am glad that Muey gets to make her decision whether if she is going abroad to study…
I feel like Thien started having different feelings towards Muey when she started going undercover as a hacker for TPC (Ep4), that is the time Thien refreshes his image about Muey, and i secretly think that Thien likes Muey being very active and chasing after him (when they first arrived in Myanmar), this version of Muey is much more attractive to Thien than the old boring school-girl Muey (according to Thein's memories, Muey has always been a nerd).
I think the breakup will be resolved maybe the first half of Ep14, hopefully, and then we get 1.5 leftover episode of nothing but happy scenes, I NEED THAT WEDDING!
Well, if that summary is correct, it looks like this story might be making some major changes from the original…
I personally think we don't need to stick to the original plot, i trust the actors, as long as the plot is reasonable and logical, everything shall work fine.
Everything will be explained, trust me! She is one of the loveliest FL i have encountered in dramaland!
My other dramas are also on average 7, but this one just hits a special place in my heart. I'm on the latest episode Ep13, 2 more episodes next week and its done. I will sure have a hard time letting it go.
I just watched ep12 too! I am glad that Muey gets to make her decision whether if she is going abroad to study…
Ep 13 truly showcased Mark's acting, he has quite a handful of emotional scenes and he handled all of them very well, same goes to Mew with Ep 10. It is really a perfect casting, casting Mew as Muey and Mark as Thien, couldn't imagine any other people portraying Muey and Thien.
I KNOW RIGHT, I don't know how hard is it for Thein to buy some flowers- or get help from his TPC boys to make an actual lovely-dovey confession to Muey? I believe he already acknowledges he likes her during the accident part. But nope, no love confession from this metal head (confession on the bed doesn't count). He HAD to wait until everything is too late and Muey is finally leaving.
I agree with you, i know where Muey and Thien are coming from: Muey has been in love with Thien for too long- she has already prepared to say goodbye and having Myanmar as their final memories together. Her plan is to go abroad and let go of this feeling of love she has for Thien, because she has been waiting way too long for Thien to love her back, its time to let go. ( I understand her, been there done that, loving someone that doesn't love you back hurts, and although letting go hurts even more, but you'll eventually recover.) From Muey's perspective, as you mentioned already, she is confused, she wanted space for both her and Thien so seriously consider what their relationship means to them right now. (BUT DOESN'T MEAN CUTTING OFF CONTACT)
When Thien realizes Muey risked her life to save his, he went into a whirlpool of guilt. He felt awful and wants to grant Muey's wish by letting her go. But again, took the wrong approach by disappearing and cutting off all contacts (face palm emoji).
Moral of story: Communication is Key.
Aunt Panjit is an angel but I really don't get Muey's mom, how can she leave a pregnant woman living in some unfamiliar place alone? Although the plot hinted it, but i didn't expect the pregnancy to come so soon, I thought it'll be after they have gotten back together, they better do something to make this more acceptable. My current rating for this drama is 9-9.5/10, depending on how they end it next week, hopefully the team can perfect it and I will give it a 10, but its by far the No.1 best lakorn I have watched.
Casting was perfect, script near to perfect, solid characters with character development, I can actually see how Thien treated her like a younger sister in the beginning and gradually shifted to see her as his wife, bravo to the team!
I don't know what to do next week either after this show ends, I have nothing to look forward for anymore (cries).
Thank god Pon Dets story is over and I'm so happy for Yada - she deserves happiness. Yes, she did annoying things…
I just watched ep12 too! I am glad that Muey gets to make her decision whether if she is going abroad to study (yes- this girl has potential to even study up to PhD), and i am happy that Aunt Pajit is 100% supportive of Muey's decision. Thien needs some pain in return for all those bratty stuffs he did in the first few episodes.
Muey has a point too, Thien barely knows her, I can't believe he didn't even know when is her birthday. When Muey brought up the divorce topic, inside me was like confess Thien, make a confession, say that you love her, say it, do something, but nope didn't happen (insert face palm emoji). That means Muey gonna leave you, I saw some spoilers on Instagram and Muey had a different haircut, no more bangs, i assume there will be a time jump, and of course cuts of Thien hugging his mom crying. We'll see what happens.
Happy for Yada of finally letting go, she deserves to be better off. 3 more episode countdown, can't believe this series is gonna end next week, what am i supposed to do with my life after this ends?
What I liked about the romantic scene in Ep 11 is that it was not forced- although it looks like Thien started…
Totally agree with you. This show wouldn't be so entertaining (& perfect) if it wasn't for Mark and Mew, both of them did really well in portraying their characters as Thien and Muey, not to mention their overflowing chemistry, hoping for another of them together! Its good that recent lakorns don't have that much of rape scenes anymore, the recent good lakorns don't have them anymore.
Oh gosh, please no memory loss, even if its only for half an episode. I can accept someone getting hurt, just no other side dramas and no one dies.
Oh yes, so much to see so much to expect, even thinking about them makes me excited!!

Yes, all Muey needed was a confession from Thien that he has fallen for her, Thien just had to say it out directly to Muey that he loves her, that's it (took him long enough). Yes, you never know with lakorns when rape is a common scene they often use. I really like how they put it this way, Thien naively thinking that by making Muey drunk, Muey could possibly go Deja Vu on what happened back in Bangkok, hahaha. I like how both of them confessed their feelings and everything happened in a very natural flow (looking forward to the arrival of the twins- saw some spoilers on Instagram as well).
I hope they can settle Pon Det and Yada's scene within the next 2 episodes, and hopefully no one gets hurt (lakorns and gunshooting are like OTP), however my guts are telling me someone is going to get hurt, either Thien or Muey or both, then someone will spill the tea of how Muey saved Thien during Ep 1. I want 2 full episodes of the wedding with everyone invited, pregnancy scenes, and how KhaoFang discovers how wrong she was this whole time! Oh ya, and they need to go back to the temple because their wish came true!
