I think this will all be revealed in the upcoming episodes. They just start this week's episodes from 6 year time…
Actually LR never thought of letting LFN go from the moment he met and re-met her. But as we know LFN has alot of insecurities in her due to her past, instead of letting LFN flee back to overseas, LR actually used "fighting for custody" as a negotiation tactic against LFN, to achieve a "compromise" to let LYY stay over at his house. Its actually a very similar scene to the first few episodes where LFN and LR negotiated on the debt-fake marriage thing. But its obvious that LR's plan is to get close with LYY and then make some funny excuse to move back in their little apartment and reconcile with LFN.

LR made LFN to drop off LYY to his house as a compromise to not fight for custody of LYY. LFN has intention for LR's family to dislike LYY so that she will have better chances of winning the custody in the future (if that really happens). LFN told LYY to obey 3 rules: 1. To shout as loud as he can (to be annoying basically) when entering the house- but the boy explained later that he was fascinated by the beautiful house and the beautiful grandmas. 2. To make a mess at any corner of the house- but again LYY said mom did not say i cannot clean up after making a mess so he put the magazines back to the shelf. 3. Whenever the grandmas ask what you wanna eat, say Pizza, Fried Chicken, Fries and Hamburger. I think LYY really dislike home made food previously because we all know how bad of a cook LFN is hahahahaha
But LYY is reallly soooooo cute, i rewatched ep 25-28 3-4 times already, can't wait for next week and next next week!! This kid is such a cutie, not to mention talented!
Hello all, if you're worried because this drama is adapted from the Thai novel/drama, please don't be. It's basically a completely different story, they just took the main characters' occupation & family background, that's it. The lead's personalities, the storyline, the happenings are very very unrelated to the Thai drama that I've watched before. A cute romcom, refreshing, cute visual couple, and funny. Give it a try!
I still didn't watch it yet. If this drama follow exactly like what they adapted from Thai drama. Then, it is…
I have watched the thai drama, and have started watching this till the latest ep, except the main settings of the main characters (FL CEO, ML Doctor, their family background) it is a completely different story compared to the Thai drama, worth watching tho if you take it as a new drama to watch.
WAIT BIG PLOT TWIST! after watching the last episode, it looks like the jade pendant belongs to Nin Xing. So Nin…
I like this twist even more! It makes perfect sense that Ning Xing would do that, her character has been self-sacrifice kinda role for the entire drama. And finally Ning XIng and the doctor can have a happy ending!! Look at all those twins hahaha
Thank you for the article, I hope more and more people discover this gem! I went to the extent to watch the last 2 episodes live via Channel 3's website raw. The chemistry between the leads is just amazing, perfect, heavenly-matched (whatever suitable to describe), and i think that is one of the most important factor in a romcom.
If you haven't watch it and is hesitant because its a Thai drama, GO FOR IT, NO REGRETS.
First of all, I am truly honored to get to be featured in Tine-chan's this wonderful introductory article to the beautiful world of lakorns! I feel that Thai dramas has more potential to be discovered. Currently, it is famous for its BL dramas, some mainstream rom-coms and also their traditional slap/kiss genre, other genres such as mysterious, dark-themed, intense dramas are also worth-watching if you're into that type. To name a few: Happy Birthday (stated above), The Gifted, and the Thai movie: Bad Genius.
