Ep1-12 perfect. Ep 13, ehhhh why is Muey running away, why are they breaking up?Ep14, wait why is Muey pregnant…
I hope you and your loved ones are healthy!
Production team might be aiming for a higher viewers' ratings hence they added a little dramatic essence into the plot. Look at the bright side, at least it gives us chance to see how gooooood Mark and Mew are in their emotional scenes, both individually and also during scenes that they have interactions. They made it so real that it feels like they are really going through this pain, and it feels like they really knew each other for a long time to be this comfortable with each other.

Definitely a bunch of wordplay and rhyming, we just won't get it unless we fully understand Thai. Yes the poems are cheesy, but I watched it with Chinese subs, not sure if its the same as how they translated it in English. Gonna miss P'Thien and Nong Muey sooooo much! I kinda miss P'Thien always teasing Muey but secretly cares and look out for her.
One of my favourite scenes in the drama is from Ep1, its always important for the very first episode of the drama to set an impression of the audience towards the characters. And tbh, Thien was quite a jerk back then, mean, always furious and had a girlfriend who turns out to be some mafia's wife. It was skeptical for me to like Thien's character or not, although Mark is super handsome but if the character is shitty, its shitty. Then the scene came in, when Oyuk (pet dog) chased Snow (pet cat) out to the street, Muey chased along and when they all almost got hit by a car, Thien actually went and blocked himself infront of Muey, like a shield. This is when i told myself I can't hate Thien, like what Muey said after that scene, although Thien may be a jerk from what others see, he has his good sides, he is kind and loving too!
Ep1-12 perfect. Ep 13, ehhhh why is Muey running away, why are they breaking up?Ep14, wait why is Muey pregnant…
ALL the emotional scenes in Ep13-15 were carried very well, each glances by Thien and Muey hurts. How Thien was worried sick, he had tears in his eyes, his lips were shivering, his voice was shaking. Muey's bright smile although in pain, the childbirth scene and many other scenes were just so perfectly produced. I think the team changed the ending to opt for a higher viewers' rating, and it did. But i do secretly wish they had a romcom ending like how they started. The last 3 episodes were very very emotional, I got sad even when watching the raw version.
Totally agree with you about how Mark and Mew brought Thien and Muey's character alive, they acting is amazing and their chemistry with each other is amazing too! Wish for another drama again with them!
anyone else mad about how this drama was resolved over Muey becoming pregnant. First of all I odn't like how it…
Ep1-12 perfect. Ep 13, ehhhh why is Muey running away, why are they breaking up? Ep14, wait why is Muey pregnant so early? I need them to get back together first then only pregnant, what about Muey's plan to study abroad? Ep15, kidney problems? Are you kidding me? This whole thing is so unnecessary.
Nonetheless, both Mark and Mew did a great job! All 4 Osts were awesome! Character development checked, lovey-dovey couple scenes checked, you gotta understand the poem, its so beautifully written (bed scene poem). Overall i give a 9/10. I can auto-delete the unnecessary breakup scene and running away pregnant scenes and the kidney failure, I can just imagine they moved to a countryside house for a better pregnancy environment. Perfect :)
I finally finished watching the last episode/15, and I have to say it was fast paced and full of ups and downs…
All the 3 parts in ep 15 that you were confused, you misunderstood them ALL! 1) Thien didn't return to Myanmar to pray for Muey, it was a flashback, Thein had put his photo in the dragon/tiger statue and prayed to the Gods to let her and Muey be together- its a part to show that on the night of the one day trip in Myanmar, Thien has confirmed his love for Muey, he confirms that this is the woman he wants.
2) Thien decided to give one of his kidney to Muey, only his brother & sis in-law knows about it. Muey and Thien were arguing previously because Muey told Thien to take good care of the twins if she is gone, Thein said no, you can't die, that was the argument about. Nurses on their body doing CPR is a flashback scene from the previous drowning scene. Ep15 has a lot of flashback scenes, you need to watch carefully.
3) Their high school has this mentor-mentee system and Thein is Muey's mentor, they share the same student number (last 3 digits). However this system works on letter basis- they don't see each other, hence Thien doesn't know who his mentee is. Same as Muey, on their first encounter (school-bully scene), Thein had already developed tingle feelings for the girl with the bob haircut, yet again similar to Muey, he didn't see this girl's face. Future encounters such as when they chased around the school compound leaving a shoe behind, Thien knew that the bob haircut girl that he has a crush on is his mentee, he felt happy. He actually anticipated on graduation gift-exchange day that he could finally meet her, but someone did a trick and changed Muey's original present to a prank, Muey was embarrassed and was afraid that Thein will hate her hence she ran away from the scene. In the end, Tum is the one that collected the present from Thein and passed it to Muey- the notebook. After graduation Thien thought he would never see this girl again, makes sense, its kind of those first love that never got to be continued, hence he continued with his life, not knowing that the bob haircut crush he has was Muey. Until after they were married, the second day morning after Muey got drunk in Bangkok, Thein accidentally flipped Muey's stuffs and found the notebook, which is Muey's love diary, from there Thein finally knew (in shock) that Muey = same student number mentee= bob haircut girl= his high school crush. And he finally told Muey about this thing via voice message and made a marriage proposal to Muey.
Annoying scenes: 1) I don't like Kang and KF's love story, i felt like they pushed it a little too hard. 2) Kob wasn't a strong rival anyway in the first place, Muey NEVER had eyes on anyone other than Thien. I think Kob did a great job already in Myanmar, sufficient I would say to implicit jealousy in Thien. 3) Ched is gay, although i didn't get the subs for that part of the drama, but if i didn't rmb wrongly someone asked Ched to show himself, like how he truly is. So cross-dresser Ched is the real Ched, and I respect him for that, and not even trying to get into Not and Katy's budding relationship although he likes Not. But again, not a very strong character either.
I'm going crazy here xD I need to wait for eng sub and am still stuck at ep 6... that's so hard, especially since…
Its still the no.1 lakorn for me. I like how Mew and Mark portrayed their characters, I like the plot up to episode 12, I like how fun it is and how deep the characters were! Solid 8.5/10 overall. I would rewatch it anytime, just maybe skip a few of those sad scenes. I might write a review this weekend if I'm not too tired!

Hellooooo! I finished the drama. I would say Ep1-12 is perfect. Ep13-15 will be super sad and super sweet, its gonna be a ride for the last three episodes.
I just finished the last episode. Really really heart-aching episode and yet really really sweet. I just hope the Thai local ratings skyrocketed to make this ending worth it.
So i went to the extent to watch EP14 live without subs, kinda understand 60-70% of it, combined with some translation…
I like how P'Thien stuck close to Muey, even when Muey asked him to go away. He has been secretly taking care of her and later on, they reconcile. Then suddenly Muey started fainting, they went for a checkup and something happened to Muey. Thien became so worried and so stressed, he even cried in the shower, and because its professional wordings by the doctor, i didn't understand much, some translation said that Muey has kidney problems. Symptoms got worse as the episode proceed, and Thien didn't let Muey know about her condition. Next episode trailer is just operations, blood and tears.
Comment: WHY THE SHIT DO THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE ORIGINAL BOOK ENDING? I heard the book has a normal satisfying ending, but now why this? Why the health complications? I don't get it, we all know Thien loves Muey and Muey loves Thien, we don't need an extra factor to prove this. I really don't get why do they need this health condition added to the plot, for higher ratings? Hasn't Muey suffer enough? I thought this was a romcom?? UGH!

I like how whenever Dylan is around, XiYi (ML) can't stop rolling his eyes, hahaha. Dylan the woman whisperer that knows his grandma and his wife well! Dylan's character remains the sweet loving guy that cares about pretty much everyone, this version's of Anna, she is lovable too (until ep12), I don't know what I will think when she finds out XiYi is married. If she remains this nice, how am I supposed to hate her?
I like the main message that this drama brings: Acceptance. How both the MLs and their family acknowledge the difference between the two FLs. Its a moderately complicated story but well-delivered. Hoping for a season 2, I want both the couples to time travel this time, P' Mo and Ubo to the modern time and Mae DuangKaew and P' Pop back to ancient times, it would be so much fun, with new missions, and of course Dr. Fern shall be there too!

Hope for another MarkMew drama!!!
