The Aranya Dream arc actually starts in ep. 9 when Xie Guchou visits FengJiu and tells her that Dijun sent his shadow to another world while he got reborn in mortal realm to experience sufferings. Xie knows FenJiu's (love)story and her wish to repay Dijun's kindness. So she sends her shadow who was suppose to give DJ's shadow anything he needed and wanted. I don't remember when exactly was short scene between FJ and Xie when he told her that shadow already died and did not fulfill purpose. This all was a secret. - so DJ and FJ memory of it was erased. Meantime starts mortal arc -of emperor and concubine and confuses the story line.
The shadows story is of princess Aranya and archmage Chen Ye. This we will get to know soon.
To get more confused: when FengJiu enters the Dream - she reprises role of Aranya - bcs it's her shadow and non existent. But Dijun is himself and borrows identity of archmage Xize as he could not reprise Chen Ye - who is still alive and the creator of the dream as we will learn in next episodes.

When FJ is in her teens, she's wearing peach gowns. After mortal arc, white or white with light peach gowns. In Fanyin Valley - red as a student and Aranya but it fits as her love blossom. When she's heart broken - green. At the end light purple ^^,

yup, that's why they both fit together so well - they complete each other and live in the same comfort zone

hmmm, maybe we are seeing the version he altered when they came back from Aranya's Dream? o.O I'm not exactly complaining as it seems there's lots of sweet talk about feelings, but hmmm... Or they will involve more JiHeng in the break up later. Now to not confuse viewers show how deep their FJDH relationship is?! Any way i'm crazy happy to see them together like that :D They look fantastic and my OTP feelings are all rainbow ;)))))

and DJ is the only one who just started to call her that way when he was fighting with Yan Chiwu. FJ loved it bcs she does not like her long name

it's set in the same world as TMOPB and it's FJ and DH love story but the book canon not made up by writers of TMoPB.

well non linear timeline of the book with tons of long flashbacks does the thing - I suppose ;)

i think they will change things in the drama - again. But well, YQ will be crushed again as he'll finally see true FJ and will be even more in love with her.

OK, so in the books, there is misunderstanding betweend FJ and DJ, when she'll think that he truly loves JiHeng not her and their ways will part (temporarily for 200yrs). Meantime FJ will bring back to life YQ with Saha fruit. She'll go hiding and healing from a heartbreak in mortal realm. YQ will assess as immortal fairy in welcome ceremony by DJ, who will recognize him. Meantime there will be calamity coming to Heaven so weakened DJ will prepare to fight it. He will appoint YQ his successor on the ceremonies and official post he held in Heavens but restrict that he cannot see FJ before DJ's death. FJ will comeback from mortal realm and will meet with DJ, who in a weird way will profess his love, but she'll refuse him. Then she'll meet YQ and get to know what DJ did - get scarred and run to meet DJ. Zhonglin will explain all situation. FJ will be devastated, YQ will try to stop her by binding their hands, but FJ will cut the bonding ropes and go to save or die with DJ.
