After holding onto the last episode for a whole week, I finally find the courage to watch it and mark 'The Long Ballad' as completed.
Of all the dramas I've watched in my entire life, TLB is the first to make me cry because it ended. I'm just so sad right now and I don't know why. It's not even like it had a tragic ending. The ending was just disappointing and too open-ended. They should've show more of our GeSun during the peaceful period. Maybe the ending is one of the many factors that cause my sadness but I still can't pinpoint the real reason. I'm just feeling so empty, unsatisfied, and sad!!! I'm literally crying right now guys!! T _ T
Does anyone know a similar drama like L&R, where the male lead dotes on the female lead unconditionally? Ive already…
The Legends is must if you want a ML like SiFeng! If haven't seen it and plan to watch, I recommend you go to the discussion section of 'The Legends' on MDL. In the discussion, a fan post the link of all the episodes. I recommend you to watch the fan edit version because the original director cut is kinda confusing
Everyday, I see these kind of cool edits and cry over this man.https://twitter.com/fly_cloudsun/status/1392128869122015233?s=20
all these fan edit of our A'Sun are making me want to create a twitter account just so I can go heart all A'Sun and GeSun videos (never create one cuz i'm not a big social media person)
where are these videos? I would like to watch them with improved substitles
I don't mind having to download it. I had only watch dramas and movies online so never know about these things but, THANK YOU!, now I learn something new! Since I just discover this feature of adding subtitle to a raw video, I felt like an idiot but also amazed haha
*sigh* when it comes to dramas i'm always ready to learn, wish it's the same with real life duties LOL
Thank You again, for putting the subtitles together and showing me something new ^_^
welcome to our boat XXDI had never hated any villain as much as Hao Chen. When HC first appears in the drama,…
me too! I have seen him as supporting character in other drama and although he's not a bad character I still see the hypocrite Hao Chen. It's so hard trying to not dislike him in other drama LOL
I hate Hao Chen more than any other asshole character I've seen so far, I hate him more than Sue Jin from TMOPB,…
welcome to our boat XXD
I had never hated any villain as much as Hao Chen. When HC first appears in the drama, I already have a negative feeling about him and started hating him (i have a six sense of evil character before they're revealed haha) before he begin to show his true color to the audience
I still haven't been able say goodbye to TLB, to our GeSun, to everything in this drama yet. So I've been holding off watching the last episode. It's just so hard for me to accept it. I know I can just come back and rewatch but watching the end means my journey with TLB have come to an end. I'm not ready to bid farewell to GeSun, to TLB
Now, let me go cry as I talk myself into accepting the end of this journey so I can go and watch the last episode T _ T
you will have to wait another week if you're watching on youtube.but on viki, it will end this week if you have…
please try not to promote illegal site. I know not everyone can afford to pay for advance eps but only by watching on official website will we be able to support The Long Ballad
Sun killing that spy kid was kinda out of character and I still don't get his plan of getting arrested at all.…
well, he did have very good reason to kill him and also no choice but to kill him. I will try to explain as best as I can.
!!! before you continue reading, do know there will be spoiler from episode 44 and up !!!
First and foremost, he's not just any spy BUT a spy of Khatun. Any spy of Khatun, at this point of the story, if caught alive, will act as a witness against Changge. He will lie that he is someone who was working for Changge (like what happened during the first signing of the treaty after khatun's ppl in chang'an was caught). Remember that they now know the real identity of Changge
Second, he caused harm to changge. A'sun almost lost changge because of him. he was already very mad at this point. if not for Changge he would've killed the kid already before being provoke to do so, which is the third reason. (don't forget that before A'sun is Changge's man, he is the god of war of Ashile tribe. He had killed many in war, and won't hesitate to protect those dear to him)
Third, he was trying to frame changge(when shuyu was coming, he started yelling for "help"). This reason is tied to the first one. At this point, A'sun have no choice but to kill him to silence him. If A'sun don't kill him, Changge will be in danger. If he is alive, given that his fake identity now is the crown prince's playmate, Changge will be accuse of trying to harm the eastern palace. The kid will be a witness to testify against Changge) With the kid dead, although shuyu was able to arrest A'sun, A'sun was able to put the blame on Khatun by claiming he's a spy planted by Khatun. If the kid is alive, A'sun announcing his real identity still won't be able to save Changge. He can say anything since he's the "victim" and the things he will say could even ruin A'sun plan of blaming Khatun. Remember that when Shuyu and the guards got there, they saw A'sun riding away on a horse so no matter what, A'sun will be arrest since the guards also saw him.
it pains me so much seeing our A'sun in the dungeon, especially when he's in Dinxiang's dungeon T_T
Ikr! khatun had her reason but everyone in this drama also have their own reason for doing what they did and none of them were as evil as khatun. what she did was too selfish that I really just can't agree with her even with her background story. changge was able to see the bigger picture and let go of her revenge. But khatun, for her own desire for power, she cost the lives too many people
