these dubbing as young girls are nails on chalkboard. and the actress doesn't pull it off, and a bit passed it in (actual) age.

the actress playing lingSu is so distracting. her eyes looks like they would pop out at any moment.
thought she was a strange sight in her other serial Tracks of Time, which i could not get past the first episode.
not good casting for lingSu.

they should had chosen someone more pretty to play xiJun.
she is a typical rich and bratty and useless character.

the worse of what i got out of this serial is... that songYi will make me run in the opposite direction.
seen her in previous serials, not much of a standout and just ok.
her role in "heroic husband" was blah for me. jiangYiYi was the standout.

i'm loss over her "maturity" that some mentioned of in this serial. she just had less screen time after episode 30.

it is so illogical that king of Jin always --and only-- nominate wuYouYue for all seat of power.

i don't have any favourites, in which, may has nothing to do w/ high acting skills.
a successful play will raise an actor to prominence, but doesn't mean the actor has versatility.... which will becomes evident over his/her career. many will play the same role over and over again

can someone explain to me why zhangRuoYun is an excellent actor?
i can agree that he isn't an "idol" actor. he seems bland, though competent, to me, and lacks range.
