i like that they added the supernatural into the third case.

terrible choice for a female lead.

i don't mind about FL's age. it is that she still looks like a child. some actress look older than their age, she isn't one of them. more like the reverse.
only upside is to give closure to princess agent.

shawn dou yanXun was also superior. but is well worth the watch, and it is still early yet.

the camera is on him longer than the actor can muster, gets awkward.
editing it off would help. director did a better editing in "Love Story in the 1970s"

jiLing should had been given to a more charismatic actor.

strong and successful female lead, this drama is not.
endless self deprecation is just "high maintenance."
also, it is a real head scratcher when FL just stare while her aunt is getting molested at the potery wheel.

the worse coup ever. the Li patriarch is a punchline.
moral of the story, WeiYan is too dapper to be a villain.

the whole Du family seems to be all creeps.

how is the bio dad an illiterate? the character gets no breaks at all.

fl brother and his gf/wife's brother are the same, useless and pushy given half the opportunity. the two are worse than feng lin

standards have greatly improved from the hong kong serials (80s) to now --just the production quality, and not mentioning CGI things.

but i do see a change of more actors dubbing their work.
"nothing new..." is pretty self defeating.

it is a shame that the big names, not all, don't have full control of their character.

accents can be overcome, as well as being able to do different accents. that is kinda part of being an actor.

are the leads real voice so terrible that they had to dub?
hearing the same voices across many actors, is beginning to override their on screen performance.

just the size of the chip on her (character) shoulder gets bigger and bigger. she is a dud at comedy --always looked forced.
she looks great and doesn't ruin the drama, like some actresses. but all too monotonous.
the princess case is a victim... of bad casting --jezz, over aged and cannot carry a sweet/innocent persona.

weiAn is still nuts. who chauffeurs a sociopath, tracking down people into the countryside?
if logic applies, fl would have restraining order.
the obvious pattern of only men get convicted, is nonsense.
this drama asks a lot of mental gymnastics. not sure if it is worth it.
