I’m watching this for a second time months later. I realize now that one reason this show is so good is because Ji Ah is not wooed by the charms of the gorgeous young lawyer. She feels he is off right away. She doesn’t feel guilty about turning him down as if seen other female characters in close proximity to “creepy”guys.
I loved how real Nam became the antagonist. He was such a great bad guy, but the story was cut too short to really have a worthy redemption that is reflected in the last episode. Why would anyone trust him? Will he still be as fake and nasty to others? Repairing a broken tool does not change your heart.
Good review. I watched this a while back. I liked this drama a lot. I'm not usually one to watch vampire dramas…
I loved The Journey and have recently posted on the discussions. It is another amazing vampire tale that needs to be recognized. Ya Long through much of the show is taken aback at YeYin. She surprises him each time they meet. I was also amazed at how he evolved. You’d think that after 3000 years one would eventually do that but immortals are usually written as if they were stone, frozen, and no one can change them. Yes the show has some huge issues but after watching it twice and really analyzing it I still love it.
