Yep! I believe the BL was between Jun’s brother and Soo Hyun, though it he question is still open for Jun. Apparently also both girls confessed to Soo Hyun in the webtoon and he rejected them both, so I’m hoping (perhaps in vain lol) that Soo Hyun may at least end up with the brother. Or if not just keep him single.

This popped up on my YouTube recs and I’m only through episode 1, but its so fun and cute. I think this twist that all the contestants are into men and could potentially fall for each other is a fun take in the dating show genre. Interested to see if that goes anywhere lol

Right! Like, every time I hear someone rave about a bromance being so strong that they ship the male leads, I’m like, “Ehhh I don’t really see it” (take Beyond Evil as a recent example). But with this one, their chemistry is literally radiating off the screen and has been since they first met lol. Those tropes you mentioned just add to it all. If there was even an ounce of that chemistry between So Bin and Jun, I could make their romance work, but as it is I have no choice but to view it as a censored romance between Jun and Soo Hyun (and hey, maybe that’s what the writer was going for all along—seriously, they deliberately chose to play a romantic song while the two MLs stared at each other, like come on!) 😂😂 Writer just cannot convince me that Jun actually likes So Bin, and I have no idea why he wanted to date her in the first place other than to steal her from Chan Ki and beat him as a competitive thing somehow stemming from his fractured upbringing.

I really loved this. The acting was great, the story was interesting, and I thought the ending was very sentimental. Totally recommend.

Yes!! And he just lights up when he sees Soo Hyun and tries way harder to get his approval and attention than So Bin. Like he clearly has more respect for Soo Hyun and sees him as an equal compared with So Bin. It seems more like he just sees So Bin as something that’s there, an object (as bad as it sounds), though the writers are trying to fix that by forcing the romance now lol.

I’m sorry, but you just cannot expect me to buy the idea that Jun and So Bin are OTP material with their boring, shallow, lackluster relationship while simultaneously giving me Jun and Soo Hyun staring intently into each other’s eyes, chemistry raw and unfiltered, after deciding to move in together while a romance song plays in the background. So Bin is clearly a beard I say, and I am not someone who thinks every bromance should have been a BL 😂
