It would seem so! :( The first two times were more subtle I guess because it relied on the viewers picking up on the use of black people to commit crimes and associating race with bad things. I guess in S3 they just went all out.

The part about SSR’s husband is in S1 I believe. In a flashback. I’m sorry, I can’t remember which episode.

Haven’t started season 3 yet but saw a screenshot of this character….ughhh WHY did they have to do this. To be honest, I remember being uncomfortable in S1 when SSR’s fiancé was killed by the two black men. It felt disgustingly deliberate that they made both gunmen black for such a horrific scene (and on that note, were all the men who attacked the doctor in the US black as well?). It didn’t necessarily surprise me, unfortunately, because I’m aware of SK’s history of portraying black people (which of course happens in numerous countries), but it leaves me beyond disappointed.

Damian's biological son is coming to live with him in Taiwan (temporarily I believe). I'm not sure if it has to do with Damian's ex getting married or what, but Jerry doesn't know about Damian's son so that's why he's surprised.
