Yesss Korea giving us the BL variety! Super excited to see this one have a historical/period setting. Maybe one day we’ll get the full length KBLs we deserve. 😭
I don't know much about this drama except that it’s on my PTW list lol. That’s really cool about the fairy tale tie-in! I’m even more looking forward to starting it now. ^^
Apparently the actor playing the doctor took quite some time to think about getting on board. So he may have been…
I noticed he starred in a couple of this writer’s other dramas. I haven’t seen them so I don’t know how they compare. Made me wonder if she really likes him and solicited him for this one, especially based on what you said about him thinking on this one lol
Also, I hated—HATED—how the writer vilified the attorney’s wife to justify mama’s boy falling in love with his mother-figure mistress. I don’t think she’s as bad as some people here think (but that’s fine! We all have different opinions); but I do think in part it’s how the writer exaggerated her reactions to things. She’s just fiery and strong and probably didn’t realize she was getting both a baby man-child and a husband when she married lol
And then wtf was that scene with the lawyer and his mistress. “Oh don’t get a divorce, you’re being too rash, I can be with you because I’m ten years older than you.” Then “okay let’s sleep together.” She really strung him along, knowing what she was doing, and then had the audacity to act shocked when he said he wanted to leave his wife for her.
And the 50s wife, gosh I felt so bad for her this episode. I could really feel her insecure about her she and manner of dress this episode, and it made me ache for her, especially since she’s such a devoted wife and mother.
Gahh these men and mistresses are scum lol. Why is this writer trying to make homewreckers happen!?
Ok now what’s with the “insights” into the character’s thoughts in ep 16?? It’s so weird because it’s a totally different style and thrown in at the last minute lol. Idk with everything else that’s questionable about this drama, just something else to throw in there. Bye bye season 1. Afraid I won’t be joining in for season 2.
Ughhh I dropped 4 episodes ago try to see whats going on I had to fast forward what the 4 ep in like 15 mins NOTHING…
Yeah I hated how lawyer asked his wife to wear less makeup because people stared at them. Like I get that Korean beauty is usually more simplified/natural overall, but bishhhh she doesn’t wear makeup for you! She wears it for her and she rocks it lol
i think there was a premise with potential at the start but lost its way by deciding to drag on in flashback mode…
Right! I have a feeling that the revenge—if any, because let’s face it: it seems like the writer cares more about the mistresses’ happiness than the wives’—won’t come until season 2, which makes me mad because I want to see the just desserts being delved out but I don’t want to watch this beyond season 1 lol
Wait a sec... BRN isn't dead! You see in episode 6, Logan knows that BRN's killer was HEB, but how did he knew…
In ep 6 HEB talks about the school’s CCTV, so it’s possible Logan may have retrieved that footage to see what happened before CSJ tampered with it? I don’t know, though, just throwing another possibility out there. Though I could definitely see BRN not actually being dead and only Logan knows it (which would explain OYH’s behavior at the grave).
Because practically she needed to get rid of the evidence. But for the sake of entertainment, anything less than…
Ohh interesting! Maybe it’s an oversight on the writer/producer’s part then? Though I would hope they’d be on top of checking things like that, especially since everything here is planned so perfectly.
Because practically she needed to get rid of the evidence. But for the sake of entertainment, anything less than…
Ohhhh. I didn’t know that, and maybe the writers were hoping that others would t as well, so the visual impact of that scene in the viewers is still the same lol
Because practically she needed to get rid of the evidence. But for the sake of entertainment, anything less than her eating it would not cut it for the dramatics lmao. Penthouse motto is don’t do anything short of extra! Lol
I watched both special episodes, I suppose I just will rewatch season 1.Damn, I even prefer rewatch Penthouse…
Lol Penthouse has ruined other dramas for me right now. I’m struggling to finish Mr. Queen. It’s good and has a really interesting storyline, but it’s become so slow and draggy for me. Nothing compares to the intense fast pace that is Penthouse haha
Oh my gosh the scene in the beginning of episode 6 with Bae Ro Na and Min Seol Ah was just.....No words. It was so touching. And then the scene following when everyone finds her!!! Just wow.
