I would absolutely love for Yi and Diao to get their own series where their story can really be fleshed out like…
Yeah, I really love MaxNat and would not be mad at them get their own, devoted drama (whether it’s a sequel to this or not) with a well-written, well-thought-out story (just cause something is feel good doesn’t mean it has to lack a plot lol). Hoping some more cute scenes with them are coming soon because so far the lack thereof and running in circles had been a let down 😩😂
I know there's still 5 episodes left so anything can happen, but with how they've been playing with yi/diao, I'm…
I would absolutely love for Yi and Diao to get their own series where their story can really be fleshed out like it deserves. But you’re more optimistic than I about their story potentially being fully fleshed out because I just think it comes down to poor writing, story management, and execution 😅😂
I'm reading the comments and I don't understand. I know we were all waiting for this drama to come but did you…
Can't speak for everyone, but I found episode 1 to be way above and beyond a lot of other Thai BL premiers for the following reasons:
- The cinematography, set design, and production value were very high. - The plot/mafia theme is unique and rarely seen in live action BLs and as someone who loves mafia/yakuza themed BLs, I really appreciate seeing it here. - I like the mature, gritty theme. - The acting was really good for rookies. - The plot is fast-paced and dynamic, and at least as far as episode 1 goes, there wasn't any filler or unnecessary scenes. - I actually thought the product placement was handled well. I mean, we know they've gotta have it and it's going to be awkward no matter what lol but I thought they worked it in as seamlessly as they could.
Maybe it's just different strokes for different folks?
Hold up - - Aoora is in this???? AA was my jam back in the day haha. Definitely gotta watch now, even if he's…
I really enjoyed this one! The work/young adult professional setting helped distinguish it from a lot of other KBLs, and I—as an adult—really liked that lol. I liked the first half slightly more than the second, as the latter fell into tropes and plot lines we typically see in romance dramas. That said, it didn’t give me that tired, cliché vibe that others have. Overall, really well done! 8.0/10
THEY BETTER GIVE MY PRECIOUS DANYOK A HAPPY ENDING that’s all I’m saying.
But no for real, I can’t believe next week is the final episode!! 😭 This has been such an awesome ride and fantastic start to 2022. For sure raising the bar for Thai BLs to come.
Can someone explain to me Hia Yi and Diao relationship?
I don’t think anyone knows just quite yet beyond them being in a relationship 😅 They haven’t given us enough storyline/backstory to figure out where they are in that and how they got there (or why Diao seemingly has to lie/hide things from Yi) lol
