Also, I'm so freaking glad that SHE.DID.NOT.KILL.HERSELF! However, I've got to be honest, I was hoping that the ending would rather be a little bit darker just to match with the whole theme of the show. Nevertheless, the ending was pretty decent and uplifting than gritty dark -- which I think is a very good move especially for victims of bullying, violence and people suffering with traumatic experience and depression. If I would choose an ending over the last scenes of episode 16, I think her showing up at Yeo-jeong's place after Yeo-jeong saw that she came back to play Go, would be pretty cool of an ending which hints that she came back for him / she finds solace for him / she intends to do a revenge with him. But I still loved what I've got, she's more at peace now and can actually live as a 19-year-old even embracing her injuries...and her and Yeo-jeong loving each other and Hyeo-nam going back as her assistance is pretty pretty good, just probably a little bit darker end sequence would I have preferred.
Giving the drama as a whole of 10/10. The revenge was definitely brilliant, and the twists and turns were actually unprecedented, and I loved how interconnected the fate of Dong-eun and Yeo-jeong actually is and how they found solace in each other.
Just finished this and it was very very enjoyable! I love the Mi Ran a lot, her character was such an 'oddball'…
The only thing that I didn't enjoy that much about it was the last act about Mi Ran's past dating scandal, I would very much loved it if that wasn't included, anyway, the ending is still really good so kudos!
Just finished this and it was very very enjoyable! I love the Mi Ran a lot, her character was such an 'oddball' and her competitive spirit always get me to love her! The love/hate relationship with both characters are also very fun to watch and the main couple had a power balance in their relationship, I really liked that. On how the Mi Ran kept on making statements on how women and men are equal and how women had always been discriminated for every little thing that men aren't. Also love her relationship with Soo Jin! Also, Kang Ho is really cute.
Anyway, loved the show a lot and I had really really great laughs and heart fluttering moments!
Liked the first part of The Glory and enjoyed the game she was playing with them as "the perpetrator". It was also a very nice that they made a drama to show how fucked up bullying / school violence can be, and how authorities can take part in this. I also loved Dong Eun and Yeo Jung's meetings in the drama -- this is truly never a romance drama (so if you don't like much romance, you can be calm lol) but him accepting to be her headsman was truly something and that line and scene were just beautiful.
To me, it felt like Yeo Jung would be able to love Dong Eun more affectionately, with more care, and with greater…
Agreed, but she was able to show her bare self (her scars) to Dong Eun and if there's a person who would probably stay by her side at the end, it would probably be Dong Eun.
Though I hope that Do Young (Yeonjin's husband) would be an ally.
I'm on episode 7 and so far, it's a bit on the nose 😅 Like Ma Ri being too rough with the victims and immediately…
it's really cute, I enjoyed every bit of it. I guess it just depends on the person's taste and how they interpret character arcs and direction of the drama. :)
