Story and plot is interesting and decently written. I really wanted to fall into this drama because a female serial…
I find this pretty hard on him. haven't watch the drama yet, so I absolutely cannot comment on how he acted on this. I believe he did well on most of his dramas I've watched, that said, let me share the dramas where I believe he acted great -- The Tale of Nokdu, Like Flowers in Sand, Solomon's Perjury and The Poem A Day (although his character became childish and unlikeable). He also had pretty average moments especially in My Man Is Cupid (although I wouldn't say he's bad). I find that some dramas an actor is great, and on some they're just average -- which makes me believe with the right drama and direction, they could show you a powerhouse acting, else it'd be just average and maybe worse. Nevertheless, I think this actor earned his role in these dramas.
so many new shows these days, and this kind of drama reminds you that the kdrama isn't dead -- you just need to be patient and watch the underrated shows.
That hesitation on his part was obviously completely intentional. At some point it even feels kind of fake, in…
I do get your point tho regarding the adult husband mannerism -- they should've communicated it better with the older actor to sync with Taek. The personality seems a bit much, but one can say Taek became more comfortable and outgoing due to Deok-sun's personality over time :) + also to create a red herring.

I think Jung Hwan represents some people who aren't great at doing relationships at all -- I think this is one of the main reason why people rooted so much for him. I think you can say that Deok Sun was his first love and sometimes it comes with immaturity too and surface level feelings...but unlike Taek, Jung Hwan only likes Deok Sun. It wasn't a deep kind of love that would make him cross that line with her.
Some useful tip. Don't go to some alcoholic man and say worship me, Chances are high almost 99%, you will get…
realistically, i'd agree with you -- but then again, this is a drama, and it's established early on that mr. gu isn't considered 'bad' by the family (and most importantly -- the father likes him) even though they didn't know his true background.
hopefully heartman gets released in Netflix PH too (:
