She loved him at his worst and his lies -- but still saw the truth and good in him, hence, Ma-ru can't help but surrender and fall in love. I think I'll be more than happy if we can remove some of the corporate revenge stuff in the 2nd half and focus on the emotions and the real thing -- which is Maru and Eun Gi's deep and emotional connection (which there was, I just want more romance). But nevertheless, this was an addicting rewatch! All actors are amazing, kudos to Song Joong Ki, Moon Chae Won and Park Si Yeon. I do want to give a huge appreciation tho to Moon Chae Won, who has to carry all the love, innocence, sassiness and emotional turmoil throughout the story -- commonly, female leads are ignored as all attention are towards the male lead, but Moon Chae Won's acting is felt, and she made her character feel raw and real.
I think this is pretty much not happening -- not sure if Chae Won also accepted the script, but if it does make it sometime in the future, I'll be glad if Chae Won will act on this :)
I feel for her. She's such a talented actress, and it seems like she hasn't found the right project since Flower…
sorry this is a late comment...but I've seen you multiple times on many shows where she acted; I know you might've been very upset and sad that she's not very active, but spreading such news can be a turned off. She has a good image and she's one of a hella artist. She has literal chemistry with almost everyone (except Lee Jin Wook - man I hate this guy, like her better with the 2nd lead).
She just unfortunately been typecasted into melo and crime genre shows---this was not a problem before as melodrama and revenge ones are very popular, but romcoms are much more popular now so she needs to get out of that melo and genre box. She had two good romcom movies, but it didn't get as popular, so maybe one of the reasons why she's not considered in most romcom shows--but this doesn't mean she can't deliver it or that she's not good enough or that she doesn't' have good image. She HAS good image and considered as a veteran actress especially with her contribution to melodrama shows. See Flower of Evil? It's one of the literal masterpieces out there and she's graced our screens with her acter powers. I can only hope that she gets to act in a fantastic romcom show similar to Another Miss Oh or Tomorrow With You.
it's a peaceful drama for me...and loved it as well! yet to finish the last episode...however, I really didn't…
Have you watched When the Camellia blooms? I honestly like the intro they have there, minimalistic yet very creative. The colors were also popping. I wanted something a bit similar here :D
I've been watching this for the whole week, and for me it's a sweet show. A bit slapstick, cute and melo. However, as the top reviewer said, this doesn't have a solid plot -- but if you lean into the good elements and its overall sunshine vibes, this can be a feel-good comfort show. The chemistry between all the characters is endearing. Mr. Gangster is a refreshing character, and Seo Pung and Sae Woo are adorable and have intense chemistry!
Can't believe other watchers and review said that Jun Ho wasn't fit to be a male lead yet and his acting's average. I haven't watched all his dramas but coming from The Good Manager and The Red Sleeve -- his acting's here is good too. Jun Ho's just as charismatic and endearing. I've always believed that this drama is similar to Pasta with a more mature take on love triangle from Jealousy Incarnate, so Jun Ho's one of the 'work-jerk' male leads and a descendant of the original Chef from Pasta and for me, he did great.
I've come from watching Season 1 to reading spoilers for both season 2 and season 3, to watching the Season 3's…
While I genuinely think even the director and its main writer believe that there should only be Season 1, I think it's very nice to hear what his inspirations were in writing these last 2 seasons: https://time.com/7298235/squid-game-vips-season-3/.
I've come from watching Season 1 to reading spoilers for both season 2 and season 3, to watching the Season 3's ending. Tbh, I think the ending delivered a nice commentary about humanity and capitalism. Gi Hun dying for the newborn is a sacrifice and a testament that humanity while humans can be extreme when met with hard conditions, we as humans are also capable of doing good, and doing the ultimate sacrifice. That's to say, I understand why people would think it became a bit melo even thru reading the spoilers and watching the ending.
I think the ending works well for me because I didn't spend hours and days watching everything unfold and anticipating that everything would actually work well or at least be satisfying in terms of execution and narrative. Anyway, the actors in the end are spectacular.
she's been acting back to back on so many dramas on netflix! oh my goodness, i cannot keep up. LOL. i'm still stuck at doom at your service (can't seem to let go her character). i have yet to finished Daily Dose of Sunshine. i'll try to catch up unnie!
i really loved this drama. enjoyed it thoroughly. after a really long time, i completed a drama without skipping…
it's a peaceful drama for me...and loved it as well! yet to finish the last episode...however, I really didn't like the intro haha...I felt like they could've chosen a different concept for the animated intro.
It doesn't matter anymore if more and more negative comments or reviews keep coming in because the show itself…
Our Blues is an amazing drama – every story was handcrafted delicately and with humour and heart! I especially loved its setting in the sea, very calming. Though I definitely should watch this as well as I've heard many good reviews. Weird that low reviews are at the top of this page? Did some anti fans suddenly flock into this page?
this drama is good but ridiculous at the same time (and I mean it not in a bad way). because of that shaman's words – young ae literally jumped to doom of truck...very impulsive but it is the for the plot.
i'm also getting Good Place vibes here tho I hope it's not – the good place while good had so many seasons (and I'm yet to watch the last season)
