it looked like he was trying to go in and have a full on make out session while she just had a stiff fish kiss.…
Just my two cents but I think her reaction to the kissed is actually pretty good — it was like she was waiting for that kiss all her life, like that kiss was a air that she was breathing. And I think Cha Eun Woo's character needed to "level up" with the kiss because she specifically asked that they kiss as humans in love, because the previous kissed not only smack, but before that they kissed as a dog and a human.
"why was she still clothed when he kissed her?" "but she's supposed to be naked."
hmm, actually that was one of my concerns after the kiss -- but I immediately brushed it off because it was nevertheless a very good episode and i'm so happy the way things unfolded. :)
however one of the viewers here commented that it could be because Seowon broke the curse willingly and that theory is possible and something that makes sense now that I think about it (even if the drama producers didn't actually intend it!) why? First, because this is a fantasy genre, this is not a realistic drama people -- rules can change depending on the circumstances. Next, one important scene to remember is when Wootaek kissed her sister when they're kids, and she came back to her human form still fully clothed!
in contrast, her sister was naked after the kiss with her ex-boyfriend because it was a kiss of shame -- her ex-boyfriend kisser her but it was not out of love, he kissed her like she was a dirt. whereas in the moment when Seowon kissed Haena, it was pure, genuine and with love; same with the young Wootaek who might be scared but had pure intentions for his friend! :)
Haena being fully clothed was like a gift because her lover has clothed her with love and not stripped her dignity as a woman.
I was thinking the same thing. So I'm just going to think of it as this being different because he broke the curse.
me too...her sister got no clothes when her boyfriend kissed her because it was a moment of shame. remember that when woo taek kiss her sister when they're kids, she's only fully clothed. it kinda makes sense actually.
Yeah like many have said, they probably didnt know what to do so best option is simply ignore the that fact.
or...it could be because this is just a fantasy drama, and we could reason out that it was different from her sister because she has been kissed willingly by the guy and with love.
Han Hae Na's reasoning (that often characters have in the shows) is always the most dumb and trash shit I have…
You can be right that she's just being dumb, but the feeling of being rejected was too strong. She was truly terrified and I can only thank Seo won for getting the burden from her on confessing — one with much assurance and love. :')
I need help:Was this episode tense, as in makes you mad or was it fluffy?I need something positive today and to…
Not too tense at all if you've already been waiting for the confession to happen 😅 There were also fun and happy moments from haena's family. I suggest you watch it now, because it legit boosted my overall mood yesterday 😊
I'm so winning with those kisses at the epilogue of episode 8 😭 Anyway, love love love the way he handled Hae Na's fear and just loved her for the way she is. The part where he took the burden of confessing who she truly is or what has become every midnight — then just him saying with love and assurance that HE WANTS TO BOND WITH COCOA then proceeds to kiss her. Wow. 😭 I need a rewatch. This episode was worth the wait and felt so long. 💗
I think he's too beautiful. I've first watched in True Beauty and I don't think he's bad at his acting -- for the most part, I think I felt his character, it's just the SML was too seasoned actor for the role. He had some nice emotional scenes.
I've also seen some clips from Rookie Historian and Island, and I think he's much better on roles where he doesn't have to suppress his emotions. Some actors at good at playing tsundere or emotionless, but I think he needs to improve more on it if those are the characters that would keep piling up for him. Emotionless characters are actually very hard in my opinion.
Anyway, I'm currently watching him in "A Good to be a Dog" and he's much adorable here and I liked that although he's still tsundere, he's showing more emotions. :') Like he was more mature and more adorable. He seems more like a rounded character. I would be happy to see him in a role where we can finally see a massive improvement on his acting abilities and I think he will get there. :)
to everyone who doesn't have Viki, you can watch it on Viu for free and quality is good for me :) *and if you wish to get away with the ads, the subscription fee they're offering is much smaller than netflix or disney+
do you want something good silly romcom, light, sweet, fun, and giving you butterflies on the stomach? + office…
this is such a nice list, thank you so much! I've already watched A Business Proposal and Dinner Mate though I wasn't able to finish watching them yet. I'm just 2 episodes away in Dinner Mate but I was already spoiled at the ending xD For Business Proposal, our Netflix sometimes get cut off so I was stuck at episode 9 and haven't the push to finish it hehe, but I know it was a happy ending so I'm practically good with it. :) I might watch Dali and the Cocky Prince after this drama tho!
For the life of me I can't figure out why this is rated so low.Is it because no one almost gets murdered? Are…
For me I think some people just didn't vibe with it because it's very unlikely of the mainstream kdrama romcom which are loud, very colorful, hot chemistry, etc. — this is more for those who enjoy sweet, simple, fun plots. Those who savor dramas like a cup of coffee. Anyway I loved this one.
so they change Yul "fake BF" scene a lil' to a lighter one (more comedic centric than proper BF introduction they…
I agree with you because I had thoughts myself that he should retrain himself LOL — but seeing that's how it was written on the webtoon with Haena initiating that, it would not be so problematic I guess. 😅 and maybe a little cute too.

(I've already watched Romance is a bonus book which is something that remains me of this)
