I guess we can just wait for Baeksang. That award show seems credible to me^^
I don't think popularity is that of a big factor in Baeksang. Have you watched My Golden Life? Chun Ho Jin who is not a male lead, in fact older and not as popular as the male lead was nominated for Best Actor. I have watched that drama and I can affirm that his nomination is very much deserved.
There were also dramas like Dear My Friends, Light In Your Eyes that were not popular and were not suitable for mainstream viewers were nominated and won awards in some of their Baeksang nominations.
Misty was also nominated (in many categories even in the Best drama category) and the actress won best actress (though, I haven't watch Misty, I believe the genre is somewhat similar to FOE).
Let's just wait! Moon Chae Won did extremely amazing here and I hope we'll see her getting the recognition she deserves for Flower of Evil. ^^
Agree, I did not like the memory loss trope and the FL was too wishy washy at times but it is very watchable and…
While I don't agree with the female lead all the time, her character was amazing and showed a true strong female lead. As for the ending, it was meaningful and will be much appreciated if you truly sympathize with the suffering of the characters. By the way, please edit your comment and check SPOILER. Thank you.
Congratulations Lee Joon Gi for winning Asia Celebrity Award and Best Artist Awards at AAA 2020! I am sincerely hoping and manifesting that you win a Daesang or Best Actor award at next year's Baeksang Arts Awards because man -- YOU TRULY DESERVE IT!
What a magnificent, breathtaking and exceptional acting at Flower of Evil! Bravo!
I still haven't watched the ending, the drama was soooo beautifully written I can't stand to watch them throw…
And, I think few have also misunderstood that the amnesia is permanent and that he would not be getting even the painful memories that made him stronger, when, in fact -- it was only temporary -- like a gift that he can use to know his true self and to experience what it is meant to be free for a *while*. I loved that the writer used that temporary amnesia so Hyun Soo can solidify his sense of self.
Upon first watching the ending, I automatically fell in love with the details they put at the end (plus the whole amazing acting and the orchestral music when they kissed), but, after contemplating about the underlying meanings of the ending, I became more sure that this is one of the best endings in a drama.
shin hye sun rocks!! If you want to watch another great performance of her, please do watch, "My Golden Life!" She was amazing so the one who played her father and they were both nominated for best actor and best actress at baeksang arts awards!^^
Hi! I've been thinking of watching this drama, but I am reading reviews that the female lead sexually harassed the male lead. I just want to know how long did that part take? And will the female lead, somehow change in that factor? And is that a big factor in the drama and if it's put aside? I've seen some clips of the drama (which makes me want to watch it) and I love mixed reviews (because that proves that the drama is engaging and not all will like the drama), sooooo I just want to know that because I am really indifferent with sexual actions that doesn't seem to do something on the plot or was just meant to draw attention to the drama. I'll appreciate those who will answer, thank you!

I think you should watch the ending. For me, it wasn't bad as others put it. Some are applauding the ending, while others seem unhappy. I think it will just be based on your personal preference, as for me, the tiny details they put on the other episodes were very much complemented in the ending. And no---their used of amnesia in the end can't still equate to a typical kdrama ending.
If you are drawn to the story (not just the suspense factor), I believe you will like the ending.
*actually, as you see, I am a huge fan of the ending haha -- I think it was the perfect end for flower of evil*
If you are here for a beautiful experience which this drama will provide, yes, this will still be a good watch.…
Well, I think killer's identity is a yes. Hahaha. That was a major spoiler, as for the other things, they were just minor spoilers so I do think it will still be okay as you can analyze head-on the reasonings and actions of the characters. The journey has still lots of offer until the end, so I still highly recommend for you to watch it.
