Amazing actors. I give my respect to the leads, and director. The feelings they had to convey were not simple…
Hahahah. I can absolutely agree with you. The finale brought me in so much tears. I cried during the whole duration of it, I feel like having a headache afterwards. But that just proves the drama is effective and beautiful!:)
Great show, I feel bad for the Korean police force though. They were portrayed like some kind of banana crew.…
The police force is not the strength of this drama tho, I overlooked it since it isn't the main theme. As for the investigations, they may not be as suspenseful unlike other police dramas, but they are good. Some of the supposed illogical errors of episode 13 were solved in episode 14.
I have three more episodes to be convinced this is not overrated. Hopefully.
Hmm. I hope you'll be convinced. lol. But to be honest, I don't think this drama is overrated or what so, it is actually a solid drama. If you didn't enjoy the drama as much as others maybe it isn't just for you. I guess if you mostly came here for the thriller and police investigation plot you wouldn't be as satisfied as much as others who came for the melodrama. I enjoyed the drama a lot because I was looking on its major themes which are healing, salvation and its take on morality.
I love your review! Honestly, I thought I was just going to watch a light-hearted rom-com but the second half made me cry so much. :') I love the drama although I can only complain that the second male lead wasn't written strong, still, this drama is so good.
Oh my goodness. I loved your review so much!! This drama is amazing and I was sad to let go of this drama, but was honestly motivated by the end of the show! Everything stated in your review is exactly the reasons it won the Daesang in Baeksang Awards.
Nice review! I guess people who watched this before were finding a a light romcom in this, hence the negative reviews and comments. Sadly, others might not see this amazing drama because of those negative reviews.
Is there going to be season 2?? oh goshh I miss this drama so much.
I remember watching the finale and crying so ugly to the point of having a headache, so I don't think I can handle the season 2 hahaha. But the drama has ended beautifully, so season 2 is out of the question.
Finally done with this ..Binged in 2 days and wow,it is going to be difficult for any drama top this for some…
Lol at the last part haha. I put flower of evil as a suspenseful poetic melodrama and more of as a tale rather a realistic one. I think this is also the writer is trying to convey and they succeeded in that narrative so I gave this a 10/10.
I haven't watch many of Lee Joon Gi's drama aside from Arang and Scarlet Heart, but he's extremely good at this one. I've been thinking of watching Iljimae and The King and The Clown soon. :)
I reviewed this drama and gave an overall 10/10, but 8.5 for the music. However, after digging the instrumentals on Spotify, I am getting an LSS so I feel like changing it now to 9 or even higher. Lol.
It is incredible! I don't know how some of you did it waiting a week until the next episodes, couldn't be me.…
I remember waiting for episode 5 so bad, after spoiling myself a bit, I managed to watch it early in the morning without subtitles, thankfully, I was able to understood it a little bit. Haha. I'm going to binge-rewatch this soon after my project has finished.
When this drama was on,I used to wait every week for it religiously..Went on with it until around Ep 49 and then…
I see you love this drama as well, alongside Flower of Evil~! I can't believe people who compared this to My Father is Strange, this is a melodrama more than a romcom. If I can only remove the top 2nd review, I will. This is best appreciated for people looking for serious, deep and meaningful dramas that are enjoyable and heartwarming at the same time.
Flower of Evil is a melodrama in the guise of suspense/thriller, so...you cannot expect much of a comedy here, but, there are some fun events that you'll likely enjoy!
Wow, I loved your review T-T Almost the same as what I felt about the drama. The theme of depression sold this drama for me. I enjoyed the female and male lead romance, but I was most rooting for Seo Tae Soo not to die instead of them ending up together, I was very much invested on his story.
not bad for a remake~ finished this 2 years ago, the acting was not exceptional, but the acting of the leads were kind of good, somehow over-dramatic maybe because of the directing. the ost is good. the story is never new of course, it's a remake, still, it's okay. I still enjoyed it, so I'm giving it an 8/10 because I feel like it.
btw, I suggest putting your reply in a spoiler.
