It’s beautiful that you have feelings for your friend, your friend deserves to know he is liked. it might be less dreadful if you stop anticipating his reply or reaction, just enjoy the process of delivering a confession to a person you like - it’s also such a beautiful time of the year to share your feelings. in my opinion, if the writers wanted to believe us they were together, the probably would have stopped at the scene were they hugged and said ‘ I missed you’. we can though also hypothesise that also at that scene they talked about that now he needs time to get himself more stable at the job. the last scene flirts with us: it’s as if to say, that even though they have decided to not date for now, that doesn’t mean that fate won’t put them again into each others paths… if they still had strong feeling after 4 years of no talking, a little more time waiting is okay in the general timeline of life… you know… some say it’s worth waiting for that ONE person…this is what I would like to think of their story… at least because I identify myself in parts and would have liked to believe this is in store for me…sweet dreaming
I’m at episode 4 and I really enjoy the pace, the slice of life feeling and the maturity of their talks - no sugarcoating or manipulating or childish stuff, we can learn a thing or two. Cried a few times and laughed a few times - I am enjoying it full heartedly!
joonbin is changing his ‘admiration’ more time than his socks. first it was DongJae, he said he feels their gaming style is similar and he likes how he thinks, then in the next game to only play him dirty and tell everyone he was a cheater when he didn’t - and because of his mistake he sent him home. then, he seems to like SeokJin and he says he is becoming closer to him then, when SeokJin decided to send YoonWoo home, then JoonBin says he is sly and he is not to be trusted. to be fair, SeokJin openly said this is a competition and it is not their job to protect weak players and that the strategy of saving everyone is not right. so I was not surprised by SeokJins decision. I guess the game can make you change sides really quickly and it is easy to jump to conclusions easily but what SeokJin and SiWon have that is attractive to the viewer is their confidence in themselves and being focused on the game. I am rooting for them!
after DongJae left in Ep 6, I wasn’t so invested in the team game afterwards. as a viewer, I feel robbed of the potential to see how a brilliant mind like his can win. I’m sure that the production team should feel the same so I hope they bring him back for a rematch against the second best or best player at the end.
currently watching Song of bandits - but life is stressful now and is a drama that needs attention to the plot and I think I will need to rewatch it later at some point. in the last year, the most memorable for me was Liberation Notes - I think about it from time to time and would like to rewatch it. Somebody shocked me - but enjoyed the thriller so it was memorable

I think I have a bad impression of 2023 because I dropped many: uncanny encounter, king the land, destined with you, mask girl. some 2023 kdrama I couldn’t connect well to the plot or actors like see you in my 19th life. Celebrity, bloodhounds were enjoyable. Pending to watch taxi 2, but not on a hurry. I’ve been enjoying also Behind your touch. :)
