Just like ‘The glory’ and ‘weak class hero’ these dramas sadden me as it shows the real life horror and cruel Korean society. Go kill yourself, you deserve to die, you are a waste of space…. Just a few of phrases that Koreans use it too freely without thinking of their effect. Familiar with the phrase 죽을래? - ‘do you want to die’ that you hear almost in every kdrama ? It’s used so often as if it’s as if someone asks what do you want to eat for dinner. My heart aches when I hear of the suicides in this country. It is a rotten world

A good drama - considering all the nonsense going on in 2023, this one has substance, had a plausible reason, a story. I enjoyed it, even though it was slow burn.

I hesitated watching this for the longest time. I thought it would be about a mom babying her grown son and the image just wasn’t appealing to me. But I like the actor and there are also a few in this drama that I respect and wanted to give it a go for them. So the story is about resilience, strength, hardships. We see mom and son love but also adult love between the Mijo and Kant Ho. There is sorrow but also humour and humanness. I liked all characters and I thought acting was great. The music for me was just tasteless but it didn’t deter from me watching it. It was a slow story, but I enjoyed it - I didn’t have the desire to binge watch, I wanted to savour it. Give it a go - you might be surprised by some of the wisdom-full quotes throughout the movie, or just the piggies or just the adorable twins - there are many things to enjoy.

It’s not obvious at all - I just wondered why the female of the supposed trio left like that and we never saw of her. I was too wishing in some ways she would join the fight as she had good reasons for revenge. I think the role suited her and I like her as an actress too.

Watched it expecting to see the bad sexy guy I first saw in his role for tempted drama but was surprised to meet a kind and soft man with good values and good fighting skills. Felt like a soft kittie - brotherly love and cute cute face

if this pairing doesn't make sense - try watching him in 'my roomate is a gumiho' - there I definitely don't feel chemistry and those camera shots where they are staring into each others eyes is cringey.

I believe the hacker is Sum Kim - who else can hack her own ‘game’? Also the hoody she wears when she goes to kill him resembles the one that was on the hacker - when we catch a glimpse that he is working from inside the company. Though one thing that doesn’t fit is that it seems the hacker has a male voice ‘in reality’. So my other theory is that it is the guy that we see next to the president when he smokes and also he gets introduced to Yun-ho and he gives his business card. There are some questions left hanging and I also can’t deny that the show feels wierd and hard to understand reasoning behind any of the characters. Like as if they are devoid of panic and fear. The computer that Som designed seemed to have more social skills than anyone…there seems to be a trend nowadays with producing quirky and WTF dramas - I watched this after watching Glitch which was also a chaos that didn’t make sense

I agree with you. I wonder if its because whatever happens to them their reaction is different from a normal one and its difficult to empathise since they are asking for trouble. You would run away in horror, let your parents know and the police that a psychopath operated on your brain without your consent… they just kept coming back to him…

All of this chaos feels like it was so that the main female leads to discover their like and affection goes beyond friendship. Also interesting that at the beggining, they started their friendship in that van and they slept in a bed, and the series also ends with the main lead waking up in the same bed that they shared. Perhaps this movie can be a metaphor for how people that are not straight feel wierd and like aliens in a normal world. She lost her boyfriend abruptly and unexplicably and she went on a journey to find him, whilst becoming more intimate with a girl. I think this movie has many hidden meanings!

I loved this as much if not more than business proposal - finally something worthwile binge watching

I found it poetic, philosophic blended with just ordinary, hard, diligent living life, sorrowful with glimpses of lightness and hope but also with pauses for soul to rest when nature takes focus. I found the acting of the male and female lead just stellar! I think this drama will overtake my number 1 drama on my list of 10 years watching kdramas. I watched with no expectations and could not believe just how beautiful the writing was and the cinematic feel it captured. I didn’t feel frustrated, funny I was able to empathise with all characters. My only negative remark is how intense of a theme is the normality of alcoholism - in my opinion, how they portrayed gambling was more realistic.

Any clues why Netflix marked this drama as ‘suicide’ ? because of the planned expectation it I kept waiting for a bad ending…

I couldnt get SiWans character From Run-on out of My mind, therefore it was hard associating His face with the one of a serial killer, also it doesn’t help that there was no actual thriller footage of him murdering all the other victims. It felt disconnected somewhat. Amazing acting from lead female though! Huge fan of her even from her drama ‘be melodramatic ‘ which was another win for me

:D you know, after watching 8 episodes i was thinking, do they even work, when will we see the results of their meetings? It would be nice if they filmed work based scenes but not just behind computer and files and desks… you know, the eye likes variety

I highly recommend ‘Little women’. After watching the Glory, I thought the revenge style is similar: strategic.

Love looks different and has many forms, sometimes what a person needs is not holding hands or passionate look, love can also be showing that you are willing to be a partner in crime and be supportive no matter what, and I think you will agree that this is what Moon needed. I think once you watch it all, you will have a better understanding of what they needed from each other.

My favourite drama of all times is Chicago Typewriter and has melancholia and sadness too - give it a go!
