I’m glad to see my thoughts reverberate with other commentators. I wish to have seen what more was Jang Eun Sil capable of, she really made a huge impression on me and I thought the group game was not fair. Even though she didn’t win, I think her leadership skills shone so much that she impressed many viewers and sometimes that in itself is winning because I’m sure some important person will have noticed that too - I hope she gets recognised and sought after and I hope this experience brought her many more great opportunities her way! Fighting beautiful girl!
the sponsors succeeded! I fell in love with the car (crying). In case you wondered: Hyundai Ioniq 6, 2023. What got me were the small mirrors that I never seen before elsewhere and I had to Google to understand how they work.
No one is mentioning Mudeok’s name, as if it is prohibited?? Anyway, I have a question, I’m on ep.2 and Master Lee explains to the Jin mother that Naksu soul was not soul shifted into bueyons body but instead buyeon soul was trapped in mudeok body. If there was no soul shifting , why did naksu react to the bells rang by Jim Mu and turned wild and killed everyone in a Frenzy, why did Bueyon not have powers then to save them both?
Episode 16, changed the story and it feels annoying becoming confused and trying to figure out who is who all over again, as if it’s a new drama. Does it get better?
ive never felt an ounce of pity for han seojun but why do i suddenly have second lead syndrome FOR THIS DRAMA...…
Because the facial expressions of the second lead give of honest feelings like he cares - it is believable acting, whilst the king’s acting is just dull
Dilraba's voice is dubbed. Not her actual voice, if you are talking about her voice in the drama.
I’m new to Chinese dramas, but I noticed with the very few I watched, more modern ones, they still dubb and it’s very distracting. Do you know of an explanation why they need to use voice actors? Thanks
Im so much hesitating to watch S2, for the same reason you mentioned.
I will give it a go for sure, otherwise the curiosity will eat me alive :D but you are right, the more comments I read the more it will influence my perception and my expectations.
I also dropped it and now thinking if to give it a go again - as I just rewatched an episode from uncontrollably…
So I finished it and I cried non stop throughout the last 5 episodes. I think the 'raw reality' comment you made definitely resonated with me as I watched the stories and the life of the characters. I empathised with all characters, although a little less with Dong Seok. Thanks for encouraging me to watch it - I am glad I watched it.
A wonderful drama, from start to finish. As a person very much obsessed with sound, this drama immersed me in…
wow - that is a refreshing thought: to watch it with no sound, but I wonder then how can you control your environment so well so it is 'silent' too - if the idea is to recreate the experience of a deaf person. maybe noise cancelling headphones. Well definitely tell us how it was once you rewatch it :)
My gosh this series was sooooo boring and cheesy. They knew just the right things to say..... Aaaahggghh bad.…
being my first J-drama (heavy K-drama watcher) I definitely had wondered in a few occasions how can the characters articulate so well and explain so well their feelings and also, they had the solutions pretty easily. I just thought it was great writing at that time, but now reading a few saying that it was too scripted, I can understand it better why I wondered why all characters were such great thinkers.
If you loved this drama jump over to "Silent" on Viki. One of the best Jdrama rom coms I've seen recently.
haha, I first started with Silent and someone recommended also to see First love. Both are amazing and I am so glad I watched them (being my first J-drama immersion).
Park Ho San - great actor! I binged this one in one day as I’m sick. Watching this was exactly what one needs to feel that warm embrace after taking a sip of coffee. Nothing too serious or dramatic, just ordinary life but with a tranquil touch.
