I agree that it's absolutely a must to separate the characters form the actor, BUT at the same time we can make our idea of the type of genres and roles they usually chose, like the % of the works they are in we liked. They may be actors that have similar tastes as ours.

It's not his fault tho. There are viewers who sexualise and romanticise the serial killers' characters as well, but it's mostly their problem. He's just doing his job. Bad characters and bad people will continue to exist. People just need to be educated to recognise those a-holes.
