I am also a bit confused. But it clearly stated 19 years later after rainmaking ritual (more than one scene) so…
I know, but I thought the one who didn't get it right or that there was a problem with the translation or something, because I can't believe they are 28. Che actress is way younger! It's like watching those school dramas with old actors LMAO. Plus the other actors don't look like they ages almost +30 years at all.
Nope you're not, everybody have their preferences, but it'll also take other side time to accept her. Changes…
I hope that she won't change drastically tho. Both parties just need to learn to live together and respect their lifestyles and personalities. I don't see the need to change or be assimilated.
I've binge watched the show from season 1 to season 2 in one go and for me it was clear from the beginning who she would end up with. She felt physically attracted by one (kinda problematic) guy, but on the long run started a family with someone more similar and stable. It's actually realistic. When she disappeared from the potentials I knew it was because she is 100% in love from that point, because she let go of her past and was sure now. I wish they showed the creator more. Maybe they could make a spin-off with the new app for lie detection. Overall it wasn't as terrible as I've expected because of the ratings. It's nice to see a k-drama where the protagonist changes her love interests over the course of time, instead of the "virgin that marries the first love" cliché. I also like shows that think over the impact of the technology on our lives and it's evolution in history.
The first 2 episodes were actually quite disappointing. It gives off the Crash landing or When camelia Blooms…
It's a character driven drama, but for now the characters don't look promising and interesting. Hope we will discover some more things and especially for something less cliché. Probably they will show why that owner divorced and that lady that lost her child, why the ML left the boat on a hill and the relationship with his dad... For now I don't care tho. Can't feel connected to them.
" should say something" yeah, that that old ladies with their misogynistic views need to open their mind a bit and stop sexualizing others' bodies. Especially because they are women. They can't change the entire village, but maybe they should.
no, i think it's completely normal to take time to adapt in new surroundings.
I did not grow up in a city, but I still get her. Good hygiene is common sense even in villages far smaller than the one shown in the drama. Plus the way she dresses is none of their effin business. The sexualization of her body is in the eyes of those who sees something inappropriate, not in her. And he had the audacity to suggest her to wear something different to please the villages who can't mind their own business?!? I don't see her going around suggesting the ladies to wear something that she likes more. It's not like to adapt to live in their city one has to change completely his values and character and become like everyone else to be accepted. If they criticize her for being different the problem is their closed mind, not her individuality. Sure, she said some mean things, but I don't see them being any better. Also it is true that less things can be found in smaller cities and villages, what is there to be angry about? In my small town it was allowed to go to nearest bigger cities during the pandemic because there were bigger and cheaper markets there. The shop owner who was upset because she didn't buy the shampoo in her place is ridiculous.
There are a couple of things I don't get. He knows that if she gets her wrist hurt he is in pain. Why not find a way to protect it? With a bracelet or something. Also Kong Qi basically hurt the pregnant wife of the Emperor and is still alive and free after that? I know he's a friend of the first wife, but IO think that even she can't save him from the emperor's wrath... YET.
