Okay DM will end up with DS after all the mess they've created but I think we really deserve a spin-off of HJP's…
Yes, his own drama would be interesting! Possibly without ruining the business part with romance like in this one.

I am beginning to think that DoSan is actually an anti-hero . It almost seems like he has serious mental health…

I have the same problem with her character. Guess the SK is not that ready for strong and intelligent female characters.…
Also I mean he got it because he is male, because of the internalized sexism in the writing. It's logical he is more qualified, but not impossible for female characters to be at least more careful, unless you write them like that on purpose..

It was realistic that they failed, but not realistic in terms of dealing with the contract. Usually it is examined for days, weeks. Like you said there were more experienced people in SANDBOX, but they got consultation from NONE.

JP and DM do seem to have matching outfits in their scenes together. But you can also say that DM has blue jeans…
I mean the heart symbol shape they form because of their pose, more than the colours. Maybe it's just a coincidence tho.

I don't ship them , but I noticed that in the main poster Ji Pyung and Dal Mi both wear white and form a sort of white heart??? Do you see it too?

So far he was under RELATIVELY good influence of his team mates and parents, and he still has some issues...Imagine him under influence of money , fame and people from 2sto like Alex. YEAH.

Weird how you consider HJP toxic, he has good intentions behind his harsh words. Telling the people they won't…
He is to some extent. There is nothing wrong with giving constructive criticism, it helps people improve, but he can't keep on doing just that, because it's not of help if you continue to only tell someone their flaws and how they will never be able to get successful. Some recognition of improvements and encouragement is crucial as well (see labeling theory). Also he pushes away even the ones he loves and that's not healthy. I know he does so to protect himself from pain, but that can be considered as toxic behaviour.

I hope that after some self-reflection Han Ji Pyung will start to be even more careful when expressing criticism. He already kind of showed it while dining with Dal Mi. Not because I think he has something to do with San's brother suicide, but because he has to understand why he is doing this job, just like In Jae did.
It's obvious that he's not cold blooded and doesn't only care about the money, even when he acts like so. I don't dislike him being realist, but if he values immaterial things too (and we know he does) , he needs to put that in the equation when dealing with working decisions. I think he understood that when he reflected on the way he valued the app before and after he knew about grandma's condition.
Also he needs to realize the power of "labeling theory" and the fact that not everyone reacts with self-improvement. Some people can get demotivated and have their self esteem ruined. When dealing with criticism you surely have to be strong enough for this industry, able to handle many "no"s before you get successful, BUT on the other hand, as their mentor he had to encourage them from times to times, prize them for their improvements and not only scold them for the wrong things, deeming them a 100% failures, because human beings also need external motivation. It's similar to the way his father treated Do San. A mentor, a father is supposed to believe the person they are giving advice and SUPPORT at least has a possibility. As much as they follow their need to have success, people also want to avoid failure (some more than others). In fact some might find it stimulating to deal with difficult problems (over-strivers and success-oriented people), but others may avoid them or use them as an excuse for the failure (failure avoiders/acceptors). A mentor should help balancing the fear of failure with some hope not only with the need to be successful.
I think he needs to find a balance between being rational and pragmatic and being caring. Letting more people inside his life could help him with that. He ignored his love and gratefulness for grandma, and never visited her for 15 years! Maybe now he will let himself have someone he cares about in his life, even if that means living with the terror to be abandoned again...

Maybe Alex's influence mixed with the corruption of money, success and absence of his friends will indeed change him for worse. Who knows?

The same car that ran over SDM's dad? That would be a nice plot twist!
Well, he's the sacrificing one. That would be his ultimate sacrifice for her: giving his life so that she could catch her father's "murderer", thanks to face recognition technology hahahahaH

I really like it when he started punching and fighting with HJP, then after he gets beaten, he ask HJP for help.…
I agree, he wasn't ready to accept that, even angry that yet another time Ji Pyung was right and they can't do something without his help. He didn't have the right to tell Grandma's secret. That was really wrong and manipulative indeed. @Luke I'm sorry to say this under the discussion what is supposed to be for Do San's fans only. I don't hate him or anything, just thought it was an interesting topic. Btw I don't really like Ji Pyung either, he needs to become a better person as well.

Up until now I really enjoed this show! However, I don't get why a lawyer didn't noticed the scamm before signing…
He did look over it, but it was already signed. How could he know if they kept that a secret from him? True tho, it was weak plot wise, especially for all the team members going somewhat out of character and becoming suddenly dumb and arrogant enough (well, they kinda were already) to not ask ANYONE (not even other mentors) about such a big deal. Especially since it wasn't the first time they dealt with scam (the first time their now mentor saved they *ss., remember?).
