But I confess, I was kind of hoping she would come back, finish the plot inside the script, then wake up from the fall in her room, and we’d get maybe two more episodes of her returning to real life and actually meeting the actor who played Nan Heng. He could have a bad reputation just like the character, but as she gets closer to him, she realizes he is not really like that at all. That would have been a good ending
This one is VERY GOOD. It's fun, the characters are well written and well portrayed. The main couple has A LOT of chemistry. I have read some of the comments here and people do not seem to understand that IT IS A PARODY. If you DO NOT LIKE PARODIES, then do not watch it because you simply will not get it.
I must say the hate toward the FL is totally overblown. I think a lot of people watched this because of the male lead and then started hating on the FL for the most ridiculous reasons. But that is a personal opinion so I respect that. Even though I use Li Yi Tong's icon I have seen very few of her works and I honestly think she was really good here. Fun, sassy, and what stood out to me is how she delivered both the truly emotional scenes and the ones where the drama is intentionally exaggerated as part of the parody. That deserves praise for all three main actors.
Visually it is very beautiful, the costumes, the set design. And I must say Liu Yu Ning choreographs REALLY WELL. His action scenes are excellent. I truly believe he is an Artist with a capital A because he sings, dances, acts, and does all of it with talent.
As for Wang You Shuo, I have to say he acts so well that every time Chu Guihong appeared I felt like a vein in my forehead was about to burst from anger. I will definitely keep an eye on his future projects.
So in the end I found this drama really entertaining, with a refreshing approach. Even though similar shows are coming out lately this one still felt special. If you are looking for a serious drama then this is probably not for you. But if you enjoy a well made, well produced, and fun chaotic ride, then welcome and enjoy.
How's the ending? I've heard so much about this, but never had the guts to pick it up!
I think you should watch it without focusing too much on the ending... Like, the ending is good, but the last 20 seconds weren't that great in my opinion. Still, the overall journey of this drama is totally worth watching!
Uhm, I think for many watchers, who are not used to xianxia, would get quite confused about Feud. it has a lot…
I think maybe that’s the reason. It’s just that sometimes I didn’t get if they were in the human realm or if it was the past. Generally, I get that, but in this series it was more difficult, to the point that I felt kinda stupid and came here to ask hahaha. (and they're in a illusion hahahah)
I'm torn between liking and not liking this series, real Feud vibes. On one hand the ending and some of the dialogues were really good, and the cinematography was stunning, it's a beautiful series to look at. On the other hand I found a lot of things confusing, maybe it was the storytelling style, I'm not sure. I feel like this story needed at least 40 episodes. At times it felt like a lot was cut out, and if the arcs had been better developed it would've definitely been stronger. I've been feeling this way about some Chinese dramas lately, stories that really need a minimum of 40 episodes but they squeeze it into 32 and some things end up feeling rushed while others drag on. I’m giving it an 8 just because it’s visually so beautiful.
I'm on episode 15 and finding it really confusing because sometimes I can't tell if they went back in time, if it's just a flashback, or if they're back in the present now. Like when they fall after he finds out who she was, she sees a wedding, then after a few episodes in the past, out of nowhere it jumps to the sect with them looking for the two of them...... It's all very confusing. I feel so dumb 😭😭😭😭😭
BTW, their story in the human realm is kinda meh, and they don’t even feel like a couple...more like friends, I don’t know.
I love all of Bai Lu’s dramas, but in this one, after he finds out that she’s Hua Ru Yue, things kind of get lost. I don’t know...... I’m not liking where this is going.
The ML is a hunting dog who saved his dad's life to be the king's slave. He doesn't have the time to think about…
So like I said, it’s not a huge issue, but I kinda wish both leads were just normal.... Usually in older ones the guy is super experienced and the girl’s a virgin, and now it’s kinda the opposite. In this drama it makes sense since she goes back in time and all, so I get it.
Anyway, I’m not trying to criticize this show itself, but in others shows just feels kinda weird in today's world to have a rich hot male lead who's never been with anyone. Not really my vibe but yeah 😭😭😭
I don’t understand why ppl didn’t like this! actually I don’t trust MDL ratings anymore~This Drama gives…
it’s really just a light comedy, like a live-action manhwa. I think it’s good and fits exactly what it set out to be, it’s just something to enjoy without expecting it to be fully historically accurate. It’s not meant to be super serious, in my opinion...
I just finished FEUD, but I still can't move on from Moonlight Mystique.
I had to go back and watch Till the End of the Moon because I had not seen it yet just to see if it could top it and here I am singing Flowers Fall With No Trace..................
