I honestly want to have an one on one talk with this man. The way he sees this world and it's justice system, i wanna see what he sees. He said his favorite lines in Vincenzo are about evil needing to exist to root out evil, that only monsters can get rid of monsters and I share this sentiment. But what did he see to come to this?
I know right! What show are they watching, must be a different one lolI usually hate popular/very hyped dramas…
Same tbh, I avoided it for the longest because of the hype. I tried the first episode when epi 12 was just released and thought I had time since they postponed one of the episode to watch it all but stopped at the first episode because i didn't like the comedy. At first lmao I'm finishing it today and omfg, I get why it's so loved.
How do I put this? Amazing acting, amazing execution, amazing direction, right ost at the right times for the climaxes (i teared up at the first death even, thanks to the ost) BUT basic plot. This isn't any different from other power struggle, thriller, crime drama. Some stall on the mystery, this one didn't which made me doubt things. The story line goes back and forth on discovering, attacking and defending; that's the whole loop. But the way it was executed made it exciting. And Vincenzo is... overpowered. Yet we'd worship him. I do, despite this. This drama relived me👏🏽 I'm here for that.
Other than Vince, Cha Young and Han Seo (the younger brother), I honestly didn't feel the presence of the others much, to be very honest. Han Seok/Jun Woo is a psychopath, he should be felt and feared. Yet did I care? No, Cause Vinny is always there to save the day. Myung Hee? Yeah, she's smart but she's still always been the "bidet" like her role entailed. What was there about herself, for herself? Nothing. It was just "Oh my dear chairman Jang!"
Anyways, I wanted to share my piece of thoughts. I'd totally recommend it, for some...damn, 25+ hours of excitement, laughter, fun, thrill and emotions.
I'd say, look into who's acting do not make you feel like they're awkwardly trying to act out their character? That'll take time but your post is about popularity and their popularity might not be based on their talent. Bright for example isn't even that much of a brilliant actor; Billkin who's better than him isn't on the list. Why? Because biased. A lot more people like Bright because he's acted in a cute bl that caught the hearts of especially young girls. Whereas, even for a bl, Billkin's drama being more complicated did not attract more attention. He might be popular but he won't get more votes than Bright if the "voters" are bl fans.
Mew, off , gun , Mike Angelo are my favv but ahemm Bright holds a more special place in my heart! But my most…
Oi, another ahgase 😃but definitely agree with Billkin & PP. Didn't know them until this year but their performance in their bl was mind blowing! Like I said before, compared to some other bl actors I've seen, their acting seemed legit & not awkward.
Basically a lot violence is the reason why is this 18+, mostly school violence.
Depiction of school violence in korean entertainment media do tend to be very very violent. Idk if it's actual representation or not but hell, i can't tell what these kids are being taught.
But anyways, my heart has never fluttered this much for fictional characters. They're freaking adorable and this kind of healthy relationship makes me wanna fall in love too, me a romance repulsed aromantic lol
i wanted to watch this drama but wasn't sure, can anyone tell if its worth giving a shot.ps-i loved the previous…
If you're fine with slow paced healing, heart fluttering mellow-drama, then yes, it will be worth your time. Again, it's slow paced and the thriller lessens as of episode 10.
I can't stand Dong Wook's hair lmao the hell?! He's supposed to be handsome and known as a flirt(he's not lmao he's just a psy being a psy and people take his kindness for flirting) but like what's with this lame ass hairstyle he keeps all through?!
I'm halfway through the show rn and idk, something about this show makes me kinda annoyed while watching it but…
Were you able to complete it? If not, it's fine. You might as well just look up some highlights somewhere, this just give me some strong shonen anime vibes.
Umm. Best I can rate it is 7.5. maybe for an OCN, I expected a darker twist than fantastical. It's the kind of drama 18-20 y.olds would find great. The ML always reminded me of Deku and the violent bullying reminded me that this was yet just a webtoon. Maybe from and for an OCN drama, I expected something more realistic. I'm fine with demons and possession but overpowered like anime boys? This is a kdrama people. Anyways, I still watched it and enjoyed it at best.
