Makino seem more feisty overall so it would not be surprising if she had some basic fighting skills, especially if she fought her brother. Shancai? I think it was pure luck of running and kicking a distracted/non aggressive DMS.

I agree, though the kdrama to cdrama runtime conversion would be more around 24 cdrama episodes. Being generous, these type of shows shouldn't be more than 30 episodes
