Side story of flying fox is out end of this month, so we very very likely won't see another JY show this year. From watching the trailer to flying fox. i think this show made 3-4 years ago will have dated filming techniques if it ever shows up.

hopefully this will be good, been disappointed with all the other wuxia/xianxia type shows so far this year...

I think he played the classic kdrama role of the 3rd leg in the love triangle or in-law that becomes evil than returns neutral/good at the end.
I think in this story context, he prob started to like his colleagues and also realize he had his own positives to move up without having to sink the others using sketchy tactics.

I don't think the mom is an actual completely Evil person to go about an kill. Think her ultimate goal of getting her to quit was to offer her a lucrative deal to send her away to boston. I am sure there are other rich people that would do that though in real life and in dramaland. Her having a child out of wedlock is an open-secreat anyways.

The ML could of had a bigger role if they had him doing more "investigating" like some of the earlier episode. Also i felt they also sideline the other attorneys because every episode just ended with the magical whale thing guiding the heroine to victory. I can kinda see why the "tricky-tactical attorney" would be a bit annoyed, even as an actor in the show lol

The show ratings maybe got brigade by super fans of the FL or ML? There is 50k ratings on this show vs 12k for Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Granted one just finished but its been getting posted on random 'normal' older friends social media and you see the meetup-handshake-dance on tik tok

I think this is the best version since at least it was reasonable that the FL may fall for the ML since the bullying was not as severe.

Thought it was a good show but got draggy around the 20s. Prob should of been a 20-30 episode series.

people are artificially keeping in at 9.2, trying to keep it as the highest rated show here. The show peaked when she met her mom and kinda flopped since

I feel like there is no ML in this show. he is just another side character.

I asked the similar question about the main relationship, people argue that it happens offscreen lol. Honestly, I didn't feel that there were that many emotional lovy dovy moments between them if you compare it to other romantic-comedy/romantic-kdrama since the FL didn't have the EQ. It is hard to even say the ML was a ML, more like a secondary character.

Easy cheesy show to watch. Nothing to spend your brain on, just skip parts as you wont be missing much. The background music gets annoying though.

I think Geurami and the Chef makes a good couple personality wise
