While I didn’t care for the mother, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. Usually Jdramas are hit and miss with me. This is one of the better ones and I think it’s underrated for its genre.

I started this three times before I could get into it. The first four or five episodes were hard to get through and then it picked up from there. I kept trying because I really like Miles Wei.

While I loved the tv series Kotoko, this actress managed to capture the essence of the character without being as over the top like in the manga. It’s just a different interpretation of the same character. This Naoki is also good as that character is supposed to be unemotional. Nice, short version of the original series.

I just started it for the seventh time tonight. It’s one of my guilty pleasures.

I agree. I used to think that the mother in Meteor Garden and Boys Over Flowers was the worst, but this type is actually crueler.

I don’t know why the ratings are so harsh on Chinese dramas but I usually watch them if they are 7.5 or over.

I just finished ep 8 and fast forward is my friend. I’ve been able to keep up while skipping her scenes. 🤣

I only just finished episode 3 but I want to say that I’m watching this for Xu
Kai. His eyes are so expressive, more so than other actors.
