This waz never gonna be a success with that mis matched super ick age gap pairing. The ML has the charisma of…
I disagree. This drama is underrated IMHO. I hate when people use age gap to diss a drama. In love, age is just a number. My late husband was 10 years older than me and we rarely had issues due to our age gap; when we did, we talked it out.
Just finished this. After watching the whole thing, I think it’s slightly over rated. It started out great but kept getting harder to get through an episode in the last half.
I’m only through episode 31 and this should have been no more than 24 episodes. I’m sick of the waffling about feelings between the lead characters. I think this is rated appropriately.
I know it’s fluff, but come on, it definitely deserves a higher rating than this. 😭My mind gets completely…
Honestly, this could have been done well in 12 to 16 episodes. Now they’re just dragging it out to 20. Finished 15 and have decided to use FF for the rest just to finish it. At this point it’s only 8 stars in my mind but could end up as 7.5 if I finish. I will usually give any Cdrama a chance with over 7 stars.
The last 50 episode drama I watched was The Real Has Come, and I was disappointed in it. This is giving the same vibes as that after one episode. Going to watch it slowly and we’ll see if I finish it. I really like the ML and FL.
Not too bad for a Jdrama. Full of tropes but at least they weren’t dragged out. Hated both mothers but really liked how the leads didn’t let others get in the way of their relationship. Best part was last episode and how it gave a good message and tied it all together. Sorry, not going to add any spoilers.
Do you even know any bipolars? She is not exhibiting any bipolar symptoms but she has been diagnosed with depression! I know what it’s like because I lived with a bipolar man for over 25 years and I also have a few friends that are also bipolar. She is no where near manic from what I can see on the other side of the world.
Thank you for at least wishing her to stay calm and heal. This is what she is trying to accomplish by deleting the Weibo account.
It was watchable but it still took me almost a month to get through it. Esther Yu was good but almost saccharine at times. Her judgemental parents were ridiculous, especially the mother who acted like she never had any hardships or made any mistakes in her life. Really enjoyed Lin Yi in this role and his story. Probably won’t watch it again, although I’ve seen a lot worse.
@Chesswidow, I was just like you. I have started this drama so many times and the opening scene is a turn off…
I finished this a while ago but it did really get a lot better after episode four or I wouldn’t have given it 8.5 stars. I guess you just have to be in the mood for these tropes or like Miles Wei as much as I do. :)
