So far, all the characters who are self-aware are lead roles from either "Secret" or "Trumpet Creeper".
But why is Baek Kyung's brother also self-aware? What role does he serve other than being BK's brother? He's even less of an extra than Haru! and HOW would he read the manhwa when he literally just entered high school?
Anyone noticed how Baek Kyung was inexplicably in his school uniforms while Dan Oh was still in her hospital pyjamas during the last scene? He was wearing a brown jacket at the hospital when he discovered her missing.
Baek Kyung’s scenes this week confuses me so much. I thought Stage Baek Kyung is the asshole while Shadow Baek Kyung is nicer to Dan Oh, but this week Stage Baek Kyung was a lot better than Shadow Baek Kyung. O_O
OMG I love Dan Oh! She’s so refreshing and hilarious too!School/teen dramas like this aren’t usually my cup…
Baek Kyung is self-aware already, no? He kept saying Dan Oh is being weird/acting differently, and he asked Haru why he kept appearing every time Dan Oh is in trouble...
I know Baek Kyung likes Dan Oh too, but he’s been such a jerk and it’s so satisfying to see Dan Oh starting to stand her ground. Hoping to see more Jealous Baek Kyung from now on!
I’ve never had Second Lead Syndrome but Baek Kyung might do it for me :D
Tong Nian is sooooo adorable! Those dimples! :D Not even HSY and his grumpy self could resist! They make such an adorable couple too lol
For me, it was a satisfaction watching HSY's character growth. I know it's nothing new having tsundere-type male leads get softened by female leads, but here we literally saw him change from HSY frowning and being angry all the time, to a smiling, happy guy. It's hilarious watching him try to keep the serious boss charade in front of the KK boys even though they could see right through him lol
I've watched all the episodes, yet I will go back and rewatch them once they're subbed. This show is so enjoyable and addictive, I think it'll end up being on my rewatch list forever lol
I'm dreading the second breakup.. It's not in the book so there's no way to tell how it'll go, which sucks. I'm really hoping it won't go beyond eps 22-23 T_T
Okay, I'm officially obsessed with this show! It's gonna be a torture waiting for new episodes even though it airs everyday lol
A couple of thoughts : - Finally, Li Xian as the male lead! His last drama that I watched had him playing the second lead and I was close to having second lead syndrome. It's about time he graduated to a male lead role, and I'm happy to see him pulling off the bad-tempered, badass strut like he was born to do it :D - This drama is ADORABLE. Those K&K boys are ADORABLE! - Hu Yi Tian as Wu Bai was a nice surprise! Somehow he looks more boyish and younger than he was on ALSB. I hope he gets to have more scenes with Li Xian, we need bromance too! - The CNY dinner was a hilarious train wreck and I'm still laughing! Dying at Wu Bai's satisfied face when he threw Han Shang Yan to the wolves lmaoo - I have no problem with Yang Zi, I thought she did fine. She and Li Xian plays off well with each other. I just think that LX and YZ look like they're the same age even when she was dressing like a college student so those "little girl" comments (or her mom's disapproval over HSY's age) don't really register in my mind.
I have to say this though, their balconies being so close like that just don't make sense at all lmaoo

That being said, he needs to drop the jerk act ASAP. I'm waiting on the moment he'll regret the "it's not like you're going to die" line.

Xiao Bai's main purpose on the show is to become HSY's ATM lolololol poor guy
