Based on the previews, I am NOT happy that we're back to square one with YS dictating what JJ should do! I understand he's worried about her health but she's more than capable to decide for herself! I'm happy JJ is standing up to him and calling him out on how he's using the "I'm protecting you" card to tell her what to do. YS is NOT her boss, either at work or at home, don't order her around :(

You summed up my thoughts about the "switch" between the usual ML and SML roles really well! If this show aired a few years ago, YS totally would've been the nice SML who lost out on FL to the aloof ML with tragic family background.
I've been noticing this change in male lead's personality in K-dramas in the last few years where there are far less jerky, cold ML and more nice, well-adjusted ML, so I'm happy the trend is also happening in C-dramas as well.
Gao Hanyu definitely acted his socks off in recent episodes! I'm really hoping that the show would move DL away from the love triangle plot and focus more on his own subplot, simply because there's literally zero chance of DL wrecking YS/JJ ship, and his talent will be much better utilized in DL's tragic past plot.

I think it'd be awesome if Du Lei's entire arc in the show is simply about him finding freedom from his domineering creepy dad and becoming his own person, instead of putting him in a love triangle where there's zero chance of him ending up with JJ.
