Firstly they weren’t a real couple so this is not a real broke up. Second this is not a real misunderstanding,…
I see your point but I also think you overlooked the fact that Eun-gi himself likes her, and wants her too, so whatever interference he did was also colored by his own feelings.
Had he been acting like a real older brother since the beginning, without romantic feelings involved, I would agree with your opinions, but he has shown that he could be selfish and very annoying. It was him who marched to the gallery and wanted to out Deok-mi both as a fangirl and for the fake dating without even caring for the consequences, and that’s not the actions of a someone who’s looking out for her.
And it’s very hypocritical of him to preach to her about her fangirling hobby when he himself looked down on it and dismissed it as silly, even after years of knowing Deok-mi.
ive read and considered that he kissed her for that reason, but would he really do something like that at this…
it's just that the "kiss" seems so sudden! From the bts it's clear that it was a fake kiss, and there must be a reason why they deliberately showed that.
Did you guys notice that Ryan was tracking Deok Mi's whereabouts from Cindy's CUPATCH tweets? That's how he knew she was at the club (and with a guy!) and probably how he knew she was home.. Cindy was stalking Deok Mi. Maybe the kiss was to fool Cindy!
Ryan's soft knowing smiles every time she fangirled....swoon! Don't even get me started at the whispering scene....I think I was on fire!
I'm a k-pop fan, and tbh it's a bit sobering to see fans' obsessive behavior depicted in the drama. I wish I could say the drama overdramatized how k-pop fans act, but that would be a big fat lie lol
Ryan Gold is a literal GOLD! Sure he started off as your typical cold and arrogant k-drama male lead but he's truly won me over in the past 4 episodes. I love how thoughtful he is and how he is willing to recognize AND apologize for his mistakes without being prompted. Throughout the dating scandal he was more than aware that he caused it, and went above and beyond to fix it, again without being asked to. I see his coldness only as a way to protect himself, not a character trait, and we already see that front being peeled away by Deok-mi. Not to mention the hilarious misunderstanding :D He's just so protective of Deok-mi's "relationship" loool
Kim Jae-wook is so swoon-worthy T_T I can't believe this is his first proper rom-com lead role!
This drama has a good concept but writing quality went downhill as the episodes went by. Also, so many plot holes.…
The limp disappearing has been explained though..... It disappeared only when Jinwoo was playing the game. To other people and in CCTVs, Jinwoo still had the limp. When Jinwoo wasn’t playing the game, the limp is back.
The whole premise of the show is Jinwoo searching for Sejoo....he can’t do that when the server is down...
Initially I got so mad over the ending but I think I've calmed down lol
The ending is definitely divisive and totally unsatisfying for me, but above all I just feel so bad for Jinwoo. The game cost Jinwoo pretty much everything; his work, his loved ones, his leg and now his existence. At the very least, give the guy (and us!) some closure...whether it's happy or sad, Jinwoo deserved an ending... Not even knowing whether he existed as an NPC (what's with that sound effect T__T) or simply trapped like Sejoo is NOT an appropriate ending!
Also the scene where Jinwoo eliminated the "bugs" one by one was so painful to watch, especially the 3rd bug... Made me cry like a baby T___T

The audacity to preach to her to find someone who accepts her fangirling...lmao the self drag
just like the character itself, the entire scene is useless!
what is the purpose of the second lead other than being annoying?? grr
Believe me, I'd love to be proven wrong lmaooo
