Qiaoyi and Guanchao are sibling goals! I really love their scenes together, especially whenever Qiaoyi wants something…
Continuity error? In episode 1 Qiaoyi said they've been married for 4 years (so they got married in 2014/2015), but in episode 35 at the "1 week after wedding" scene, Yan Mo was using iPhone X that only came out in late 2017 lol
The younger brother subplot came outta nowhere and is totally unnecessary! They should’ve just stuck to the financial struggle excuse to explain Deok-mi’s mom leaving Ryan at the orphanage.
Deok-mi not remembering much from her childhood is normal, no? I don’t think a lot of people remember everything from when they’re 7 years old, even without trauma. But of course this is k-drama and we can’t have nice things without accident/childhood friend/amnesia cliches lol
I think Lee Sol was living a hard life raising her son when something happened and she was hurt and told her child…
Yeah I think they won’t go that noble idiocy route either, but you never know with k-drama writers lol
As a rom-com this show does have its usual k-drama cliches, but so far they’ve dealt with them differently, so I’m hoping that IF they go that route it’ll be different.
Anyway there’s only 3 episodes left, so at least if they want to separate Ryan/Deok-mi it’ll have to be resolved quickly lol
I'm kind of worried that you're right even if it seems really out of character for Deok Mi's mother to be that…
I’m really hoping Show doesn’t go that annoying angsty way, because this couple has been shown to be mature and communicative with each other, and Noble Idiocy comes from non-communication. Crossing my fingers that they’ll skip that trope and that they’ll overcome it together.
Tbh I also don’t want to think that Deok-mi’s mom is that cruel to a child, but I’ve had this suspicion for awhile because the lady’s hairstyle is very similar to Deok-mi’s mom. Now that she’s spoken, she really sounded like Deok-mi’s mom.
Also, if she wasn’t involved I don’t know how the heck Ryan ended up in both Deok-mi and Eun-gi’s memories.
Don't you guys think that the lady who left Ryan at the orphanage sounds just like Deok-mi's mom?? Bio Mom also has a scar on her hand and the lady's hand in Ryan's memories didn't have one.
Here's my crazy theory based on the preview : Somehow Ryan and Bio Mom got separated, and Deok-mi's mom took him (hence him being in Deok-mi's memories and Eun-gi remembering a Heo Yoon-jae) before leaving him in the orphanage.
The previews showed them at a church, and Ryan asking Bio Mom where she stored her last painting. Maybe Bio Mom thought Ryan was lost or died, that's why she stopped painting completely and got rid of all the bubbles artwork that was inspired by her child, except the last one that she put at his memorial at that church.
I just find it hard to believe that Shi-an's warm mom who clearly adored him would intentionally abandon Ryan just like that. Maybe she didn't give him up!
If it really Deok-mi's mom who abandoned him at the orphanage....let's just prepare for another annoying k-drama trope : noble idiocy!
Given the pacing of the show, I wasn't surprised to see Ryan meeting, remembering and revealing himself to his biological mom all in one episode.. Other shows usually spend a good 2 or 3 episodes just to come to conclusion lol
The revelation scene was quiet and dignified, I like it. My heart hurts for Ryan though, to see his bio mom treating her other son with so much affection. He looked so sad, I just wanna hug him T_T I hope the show can fully explain mom's reasons.
Once again, Deok-mi truly is an impressive girlfriend!
Something about the costumes. How many more suits is Duk Mi going to wear? She looks all the same to me - I don't…
I agree.. I like it when Deok-mi wears those coat dresses, at least it's different.
PMY's costumes on Secretary Kim were also very boring, same old blouse and pencil skirt day in and day out-- Now in this drama it's pastel colored suits.
It's sickening how Eun Gi trying to use the fangirling issue in his favor. He did it in episode 8 and again in…
exactly! TBH i really enjoyed that shocked look on his face lol, his one upper hand against Ryan just went out of the window! We know Ryan has no problem with it, so it really backfired on Eun-gi lmaoooo
It’s about time Ryan tells her he knows and get that plot over with. The Ryan/Shian/Lee Sol thing is still underdeveloped and they should probably start focusing on that.

Also maybe I watch too much k-dramas that those PPLs don’t bother me anymore. PPL will always gonna be there so whatever

The kitchen scene is all ad-libs and they're so freaking cute omg
