Great cinematography, soundtrack, and engaging action scenes. The downside that impacted my rating was the story's direction and pacing. I believe the season took its time for the first half and quickly wrapped everything in the last two episodes. To save the argument of the series not covering the additional characters, they concluded with an open ending. It seemed underwhelming but leaves room for a possible season.
Man, I feel for Mi-ho. she started off strong-willed in the first two episodes of part 1 and we are shown her more vulnerable side. Even she wants to know when her powers will awaken.
In terms of the romance subplot, it's definitely going to be a slow burn or subtle one. Action scenes are shown to be the main highlight of this season.
So far, so good with two episodes. We finally got more backstory and motive behind the protagonists and antagonist. The gradual build up of Van and Mi ho is there. It's nice to see a bit of comedy back with the trio together. Poor Johan doing the chores.
There is still a lot of mystery behind the origins of "The Red Person". For example what or who attacked the girl in the beginning (I assumed its the father from the pictures). Why does the loop keep going despite the body parts being put back together (The librarian also experienced it).
The post credit scene also suggests a story continuing.
There is a lot of jealousy theme happening in this series. It does bring out the worst trait of a person. The gradual shift in Naru and Nao's behaviour was closely depicted as the story progressed. In regards to the ending episode, I think they could have changed up some of the member's looks since they did a time-skip.
The series had a great start in the earlier episodes, but it was anticlimactic towards the end. The characters had potential, especially Song Meo Ru's foresight ability. However, not much character development throughout the episodes.
I was pleasantly surprised by the story building and production. Although, I wasn't a fan of the shaky camera shots, the action scenes were enjoyable. That ending cameo was a nice touch to the film.
This was a feel-good short drama. It definitely shows the warmth of a coffee place and how their staff brings the people together. Hence standing out from the corporate coffee chains. The series showcases the coffee origins and the thought process behind the baristas.
I remember practicing coffee making multiple times during my high school spring break. Although at the time, I wasn't too enthusiastic about coffee, it was a great learning experience. I would be interested to relearn the process if the opportunity crosses my path.
Well, after everything they did to the forense doctor and he still have courage to keep helping Daigo? And I don't…
At first I thought it was dumb of him to go unarmed. However, I think he did that so he can be led to where the missing children are. He may have others to back him up or not.
