OMG!! This is one of the best historical detective thriller dramas I have ever watched. Why is it so short? Only 29 episodes? IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST 50 EPISODES !! SO MANY INTERESTING CASES! :))
I re-watched this drama 2nd time, and marathon-watched, skipping the boring parts, and concentrated on the main couples. I actually enjoyed it the 2nd time around, and found that this drama is actually really good, funny, entertaining and well-done. I read lots of comments that the main ML was not suitable or he didn't have on-screen chemistry with the main FL. That is not true. He actually fits his role really well, and his character changed a lot throughout the story. Anyways, this is one of my favorite dramas, and I don't mind re-watching it again. It is a family-drama with lots of life slices. However, I wished that the last 2 episodes are not rushed. Enjoy the show and have fun

I agree with what you wrote. Perhaps during the earlier years of the marriage, say first 10 years, In Ho did care for Dr. Cha. If not, why did they have 2 kids? Perhaps the stress of working and taking care of wife and kids after many years took a great toll on him, and when his first love suddenly came back into his life, he must have felt refreshed & young again - then having a mistress must be wonderful for him. I am not condoning In Ho's actions, just trying to understand the drama. But the fact that he cheated on Dr. Cha for many years, even gas-lighted her, mistreated and disrespected her (not willing to give part of his liver when her life was in danger), showed how much he doesn't care for her any more. The only reason he started to show interest in Dr. Cha is because she became attractive to other men and he was caught cheating. Disgusting man!!

I believe she doesn't have confidence in herself because she has always been made to serve her family and mother-in-law. I can imagine how she feels; after almost 20 years being a housewife, joining the workforce again and meeting & working with younger and perhaps smarter people than yourself. It can be intimidating. She needs some time to get her footing/ balance in the work place and slowly gain her confidence.
Should I watch Season 1 first? This season 2 looks more fun than the Season 1. I tried to watch Season 1 last year but the first 2 episodes were so boring, that I dropped it.
The main ML & FL are reunited again after starring in another C-drama "Once We Get Married". I liked them in the previous drama and I hope this new drama will be good too.
I really loved this C-drama. It was so good, that I wished there will be Season 2, see the flower ladies be re-born and they will have more adventures with their handsome, hot husbands.
Hello, I am looking for a new drama after finishing the wonderful The Starry Love - one of the best Cdrama I have ever watched in my life (trust me! I have watched so many Cdrama in my lifetime of 30 years ++); Anyways, I saw that this Cdrama called Love Between Fairy and Devil has received so many good reviews; However, I have my doubts; especially relating to Esther Yu; she has a childish-kind of voice which tends to be really annoying. I am hoping that her voice gets dubbed. She is an average actress who is doing Ok for now (this is my own opinion) but I will try to watch this drama - just for Dylan Wang (who is an excellent actor in his own right). So, here I am starting off to start watching this fantasy period costumes C-drama ; Best wishes to everyone!!
I would have like to watch this historical drama just for Leo Wu and Zhao Lu Si because I really like both actors; But I just don't like Dilraba. Nothing personal but I just don't like her acting; Just like I didn't like Julia Roberts until the day she made the movie Nottinghill... Please don't hate me, Dilraba fans; I am just stating my opinions :))
